A/N: OKAY BUT THIS PICTURE CAN WE JUST CASPAR AND WILL BOTH IN THE PICTURE??!! TWO BAES IN ONE???!!!!! IM DEAD

It's been a week since Alby's death. 6 other boys have been killed by the sting of the grievers, most of them you didn't know. Last night however, Alex from the builders was the taken one. You held Gally as he cried. He tells you that they were close, and you wish that you had taken the time to get to know Alex better.

With all of this happening everyday, Thomas begins to go crazy trying to figure out a way to protect everyone. He keeps screaming at people that you all need to go into the maze and get out. He finds strange patterns in the maps and claims that the only way out is to go through the griever's home. Newt and Minho convince him to give it some time.

Gally tells you that it's just the situation getting to his head, and that you should just stay in the maze. You decide to listen to Gally, but a part of you wonders, what out there could really be worse then the conditions in here?

The sun is beginning to set, so you go over to help Newt pack supplies into the homestead to prepare for the night. Your leg has pretty much healed, to the point that you can walk without the crutches, but you find yourself moving with a slight limp.

"Ugh! I'm going to be messed up for the rest of my life now!" You complain to Newt.

"Hey, it's all good," he replies. "We match!" It's the first time you actually notice his disability.

"How long have you have that? I haven't noticed it before."

"A little more than a year," he says with a sigh. "I try to cover it up as much as I can."

"What's you do to get it?" You ask.

Newt shakes his head. "That's a story for another time," he says with a sad smile.

You decide not to dwell on the mystery behind Newt's leg, and focus on the task at hand. The glade has become dark. It's time to go into hiding and pray for the best.

You find Gally in the corner of the room, and sit down next to him. He instantly wraps his arm around your shoulder and you smuggle up into his chest. He offers a sense of protection that you can't seem to find anywhere else in this nightmare.

Growling is heard in the distance. Everyone goes over to the pile of supplies and picks themselves a weapon to arm themselves. Sure nobody would want to fight a griever, but hey, if you're going to face a griever, it's better to be armed then have nothing.

You grab a spear, deciding that it's the best weapon for you, considering if it comes to it, you can always just throw the spear and not have to deal with getting too close.

Because shit, who would want to get near those things? Not only are they deadly, but after them invading for a while, you've noticed that they have a terrible smell of rotten eggs.

It's started to make the homestead smell too. No wonder Thomas wants out.

You see the red glowing lights of the creatures entering the glade. You brace yourself for the worst.

~time skippity doo da~

Gally is gone.

You don't even know what really happened. It was all too fast.

The griever's had entered the glade the same way they always had: slowly and aimlessly. They slowly crept their way in and wandered around for a good amount of time until they felt as if the time was right.

They all started moving towards the homestead. You gripped your spear tighter the closer they got. You stayed right at Gally's side.

Suddenly, right as the monsters had reached the building, Gally leaned down and kissed you. It shocked you completely. Such weird timing to show his affection, you had thought.

When you finally broke the kiss and opened your eyes, you looked into his and noticed that they weren't normal. They were glazed over again, the pupils so tiny they were barely visible. Remembering the last time that this same thing had happened to his eyes, you began to yell at him to try to break out of it.

But it was as if your words passed right through him. He walked right past you and over to grievers. You screamed and ran towards him, dropping your weapon in the process. You gripped onto his arm and tried to pull him back, but he just pushed you off, and you landed on your back on the floor.

"Gally, you need to get back over here! You'll die out there!" Newt yelled out, running forward to Gally. But Gally simply turned around and punched Newt square in the face, as you watched helplessly.

"You don't get it Newt," he said his voice hollow. "You're too stupid- you've always been too stupid. There's no way to win! They're going to kill all of you, every last one of you!"

"Gally!" Thomas yelled. "What are you doing?"

Gally turns around and faces the grievers. You finally get up and run up to try to grab him and get him back to where everyone else is, but you're too late. He jumps out to one of the greivers, who take no time grabbing him and dragging him out to the maze.

You're sobbing and screaming so hard that your throat feels as if it's going to be ripped out.

"Gally! No! Come back!" You cry. "Please! Just come back! I need you!"

You begin to run out to the maze doors, but someone grabs you from behind. At first you thrash around trying to get out of his grip, but soon you realize it's useless.

You turn around and see that it's Minho. You throw your arms around him in a tight hug and cry into his shirt, your body shaking with every breath.

"Juno, you need to stay here," he says, rubbing your back trying to calm you down.

"He's gone," you muster in between sobs.

"It was a suicide," a girl's voice says next to you: Teresa. "Why would he do that?"

You shake your head, finally prying yourself from Minho.

"It wasn't him," you croak, your voice scratchy from screaming.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Teresa says.

But you look at Minho, and you know he can tell what you meant. He's being controlled. How, you don't know. But you're sure of the fact.

You turn around and see Thomas helping Newt tend to his swelling eye. Thomas leans down and kisses Newt on the nose, and you feel your heart break. Grief floods through your body. Gally is gone.

But suddenly, as if someone had flipped a switch in your brain, all of the grief turns into anger, a thirst for revenge.

You walk up to the two of them.

"Thomas," you say, in the steadiest voice you can muster. "You were right."

Thomas's face scrunches in confusion. "About what?"

"We need to get out of here. We need to find those shucking creators." You feel the anger boil inside you, thinking of Gally.

"We need to find them," you conclude. "And we need to destroy them for what they've done to us."
