With this story recently finished, I thought I'd just write a little intro, mainly to clear up a lot of confusion I get over and over throughout this story, so I can stop having to explain things to every new reader who comes to this story.
"Isn't this a reader x Gally fanfiction?"
— It did indeed start out as an imagine. The story is written in second person perspective (something I have never tried before), aka it's written as if talking about you. The main character is intended to be you.
"But my name is not Juno."
— I am aware that not every reader who stumbles upon this story is named Juno. I have yet to meet a Juno myself. The story used to say "Y/N" everywhere there is now "Juno", because that's how imagines work. However, not everyone on wattpad fully understands how imagines work, and were very much thrown off by the "Y/N" in the text. So I decided to give you a "glader name", like how Thomas's real name is Stephen, and was given the name Thomas for the purpose of the trials. And like how Thomas is named after Thomas Edison, I wanted you too to be named after someone of importance. My readers voted, and you ended up being named Juno for the purpose of the trials, after the Roman goddess of love and protection.
"Why do you constantly say that you hate this story? It's so good!"
— Listen. There are plenty of better maze runner stories I could recommend you. Just DM me, seriously. This story is unedited and a big bulk of the writing was done two years ago, so of course I hate it. I've become a much better writer since the beginning of this book. The story started out as a joke on Instagram, but so many people liked it, I continued it. This story is the first ever book I've completed on wattpad, and also the most popular work I've ever had. This is the the only reason it's still on my profile to this date.
