After a day with a Sloppers, it's time for dinner. Chuck invites you to sit with him and you agree, seeing as you barely know everyone else. Also, Chuck is starting to grown on you in an annoying little brother kind of way.
Chuck leads you to one of the picnic tables with Newt and two other boys you don't know.
"Hey guys! This is Juno and she's sitting with us so deal with it." Chuck says, sitting down at the end if the table. You sit down next to him.
"Ugh you two smell like you dumped all that bloody klunk all over yourselves. You better be taking a shower tonight." Newt says holding his nose.
The other two boys at the table introduce themselves. The older of the two, a buff asian boy, introduces himself as Minho. The other boy is named Thomas. The two of them tell you that they're runners.
"I was the Greenie until you arrived," Thomas explained. "Thank god you arrived because I was getting sick of the nickname."
You laugh as you all stand up to go get your meal. Tonight's meal is Ham and Cheese sandwiches.
"YAAAAAAAAAS SANDWICHES!" Thomas screams grabbing six.
Minho turned to you and shrugs. "Thomas loooves his sandwiches."
You can't help but laugh at Thomas. "Hey save some for us will ya?"
As your waling back to the table you feel as though someone is staring at you. You look over and see Gally glaring at you. What's his problem?
You sit down and start eating. You suddenly see what Thomas was all excited about. These were some good sandwiches.
Minho and talks about what it's like in the maze and complain about how much his feet hurt. Thomas inhales his mound of sandwiches in record breaking time.
You look around at all the boys. These guys aren't that bad. You've only been here a day, but they're already like family.
Newt leans across the table to you. "Gally has been staring at you all meal. Its official. He loves you."
"What the hell, Newt?" You playfully slap him.
Newt sticks his tongue out at you. But two can play at this game. You stick out your tongue at him as well.
You turn around anyway, curious about what Newt said. Sure enough, Gally is looking at you. You make eye contact and he quickly averts his gaze to his empty plate.
