I don't know what happened. After a brief argument they all had decided someone else had to go down there to see what had shocked him. That person was me. I tried to back away but was forced into a corner. The rope had looked tight but it felt ten times tighter. They then also tied me to four other ones. I then slipped of the edge.

The decent had seemed to last an age, yet when I looked up I could still make out the faces peering down on me. With torch in hand, I kept on looking. The rope began to shake. I looked up, only to see the mouth to be closing. Everyone was yelling. I just managed to swing onto a small ledge by the time the cavern went black. As I followed the ledge I finally found an opening. I shined my torch to see how far the cave went in. I couldn't see the end. It was my best shot. I began to walk a path that could end with my death. Every so often there were these weird ring handles you see in movies. I hurried past them.

After walking for what seemed like a lifetime I finally could see light. Sadly it was above a 20 metre cliff. Why climbing. Why. I had never been good at climbing. I had never enjoyed climbing. At parties I had always done the first climb (barely) and then sat out. Now I had to climb higher than ever, unassisted. Sadly I had no choice. "Must not look down." Then I began to climb. I slipped. Luckily I only fell a bit but it still hurt. I had to do better than that. Once again, I climbed. One hand up. Other hand up. One leg. Other leg. Always three points on wall. Keep on going. Keep on climbing. Keep on not dying. I could feel air. I put one hand over the top. Then the other and... SLIP! Woah. Someone grabbed me. I looked. Daphne?! She hauled me up then vanished. I sat there, wondering. Then I realised, where I was. It took a while for me to gather my bearings. I was at the school. How did I get here? That was like few miles. It had felt like ages but was actually barely any time. Then I saw movement. I dived to cover. Then I saw someone unexpected. Arnold. Damn. "Oi, you. Stand up!" I stood and ran.

I smashed through a door and jumped up stairs until I found a door to hide in. When I got through I saw some more stairs. I creeped up them. I was on the roof. SLAM! The door smashed against its frame. I hid behind a vent and then peered over the edge of the roof. Too high to jump. I'd have to wait it out. "Where are you? You shouldn't be here! I warned you." He then appeared next to me. "Wait..." Too late. He grabbed me by the neck and punched me in the face. I could taste blood in my mouth. Next he slammed me on the floor. I instinctively kicked out and he fell to the floor clutching his balls. I then dropped my elbow on his head and ran. I thought I'd got away, then he rugby charged me. Next he wrapped his hands around my neck, causing me to gag. "STOP!" Arnold swung his arm around. It struck Katie on the head and she collapsed over the edge, landing head first on the floor, three stories down. "NOOO!!" he yelled.

I followed him cautiously to the ground. Instead of going to Katie, he veered to a room to the left. Inside, was a small cot with a baby inside? "Waaa, d-di-did you have a ba-baby?" He looked sarcastically at me. "Really, of course not, we found him in a house crying." I looked puzzled at him. "How did it survive this long?" "He had managed to get some food somehow, I don't know." He picked the little child up. "Alright, bye nice seeing you." I turned and ran.

When I got back, everyone was around a fire placing MY STUFF in it. I sprinted to them. "Hey, HEY! STOP!" They all froze and turned to me. "Yep, not quite dead yet." Otto walked up to me and punched me in the arm. "Idiot!" Clutching my arm I made my way to the middle of the gathering. "I'm alive." I thought I should make it quick. Suddenly everyone was asking questions. Eventually I broke free. I then made my way to the other 'leaders'. "I need to know what happened after it closed." They all looked to the floor. "Well, there was a massive fight and four are seriously injured." I could see the hospital behind them and there were people running frantically. Suddenly we heard a shout. We looked. "There's a twister coming!" He screamed.
