The next morning, the sunlight peeked through the curtains of a medical room's window and fell upon the sleeping occupant lying on the medical bed, who had a breathing mask on and some heart monitor equipment as well. The brunette lying in bed was breathing softly and heavily as he lay in the bed. Luckily, he has no bruising or anything across his body, and nothing else was broken. However, being knocked unconscious in a jet fighter going at Mach speed isn't something to be taken lightly.
Braedey's blue eyes flutter open as consciousness began to return to him. He lightly groaned from the light hitting his face. He then looks to see he has a breathing mask on him, connected to a ventilator. He slowly manages to sit himself up, taking some much-needed deep breaths as he sat in bed. His memories seem a little fuzzy, but he did remember flying an F-14 before going into a vertical climb and being crushed by high-Gs, then everything went black.

'I must've blacked out when I pulled back.' Braedey thought as he shook his head, a hand against his head. 'But what happened to the plane? Did it crash? If it did... how am I even here?' He looks at himself. 'No blood, no broken bones, no missing limbs... what had happened when I blacked out?' He wondered out.

Misato Katsuragi, Captain here at the EAF, was over on the control tower as she looked out at the runway. As she did so, she was lost in thought about what's been happening over the last 24 hours.
First off, she's been told about the Third Pilot to collect him and bring him to back. Second, she and Ritsuko had been instructed to show off the F-14 Tomcat jet to the new pilot and to inform him about his new position (which didn't go well). Thirdly, the Commander turns out to be the uncle of the new pilot who says that his brother, the pilot's father, is a 'disgrace' to the family name. And on top of that, they almost had a calamity when the pilot fell unconscious at the controls of the jet and they had to use the Autopilot RTB Mode to bring the pilot and plane back to the ground safely.
'This is quite the conundrum we've gotten ourselves into.' Misato thought to herself as she crossed her arms. 'What are we going to do with this?'
"Word just came in from the medical wing." Maya informed as she walked up to her. "Braedey has regained consciousness." She said to him.
"How is he?" Misato asked as she looks back at Maya.
"He seems alright. However, he seems rather weak and shaken by what happened earlier on with the test flight." Maya explained to the Captain. "He isn't even sure of what happened to him when he blacked out during the flight."
"Right. I'll make my way to the Medical Wing now to go and see him." Misato acknowledged before she now heads off.
Ritsuko watches Misato go, then she and Maya make their way over to the computers, and decided to try an identity search under Braedey's name. As they take a look, they could see his profile shows that he's only in high school at 15 years of age, with him still living with his parents in New York City, and he has a degree in mechanical engineering, but on top of that, he has ZERO flight experience or simulator training.
