Heading out across the Philippine Sea from Japan, a Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter was making its way to rendezvous with an aircraft carrier fleet that was coming from Germany. Onboard the helicopter, Misato, Braedey, Dante, and Betty were onboard, and both Kenji and Haruo were alongside them. All of them were making their way to meet with the carrier group before they meet up with the German pilot.
"A Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion heavy-lift transport chopper!" Haruo gushes out. "I never thought I'd get the chance to actually ride in one! Like they say, "Good friends are a great blessing"! Right, Braedey?"
"You must be going stir crazy, being stuck in the mountains and the airbase every day. So I thought I'd invite you all out on a Sunday date." Misato explained next to the others.
"So, where are we going?" Betty questioned.
"To enjoy a lovely cruise on the Philippine Sea aboard a luxury liner." Misato answered, just as the helicopter emerged from the clouds and saw an aircraft carrier with two battleships running escort.
"Yep, good friends are a great blessing!" Haruo gushes
"She calls that a luxury liner?" Kenji muttered out.
"That is the Nimitz-Class aircraft carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower!" Haruo gushes at the sight of the carrier. "With an overall length of 1,092 ft (333 m) and a full-load displacement of over 100,000 long tonnes, the Nimitz-class ships are the largest warships built!"
"It's huge!" Kenji muttered.
Misato couldn't help but laugh aloud, then she looks over to Braedey, who looks somewhat pale in the face as he holds tight to his seat and a handle on the side of the helicopter. "Hey, you okay there?" She asks to him softly.
"Uh... just... not so good with helicopters or boats." Braedey replied softly.
"Oh..." Misato now felt guilty about being the one to bring Braedey over on this occasion. She did get some sharp words from the Commander about the brunette's lack of enthusiasm or so while flying a few days ago, but she honestly can't do much about that. She was told that Braedey should be training with Nick, but she opted to take him away from flying for a bit.
"It'll be okay, Misato. I'll keep an eye on him." Betty reassured to her.
Sure enough, the Sikorsky helicopter touches down on the deck of the aircraft carrier, the occupants all now starting to disembark and began to walk away from the huge helicopter. Braedey was the last to get off, his legs feeling like jello as he struggled to get his balance.
"Oh, cool! This is just too cool!" Haruo gushes out in amazement as he looks around at the multitude of military vehicles and equipment on the main deck. "It's enough to bring tears to a man's eyes! Oh, cool!"
"Hello, Misato. How have you been?" A girl's voice spoke up, getting everyone's attention as they look at the person who spoke.
"Not bad." Misato greeted back to the person. "Hey, have you grown in height?" She inquired.
