With the introduction of Warren C. Hicks AKA Armageddon and Belle Marinette on the airbase, the EAF pilots were all curious and wondering about the two newcomers and their actions. For Warren, he can go and be stubborn and hardheaded at times, but he can relax and be himself. For Belle, she can be sweet and gentle at times, but can snap and be dead serious.
Despite this, Nick, Dante, Betty, and most of the EAF members seem to get along with the two newcomers and welcomed them in. Braedey, meanwhile, he felt a little nervous and uneasy about the two folks, and he felt intimidated by the look in Warren's eyes and the height and size of Belle. He wasn't sure of how to talk to them. Asuka, on the other hand, didn't seem to think someone like Belle taking the controls of her Su-47 (since Asuka can't believe Belle fitting inside the cockpit of any aircraft) or of any plane at all despite the fact she has thousands of hours of flight training.

Down inside the Imperium, the EAF pilots were now all sitting inside what were the simulator cockpits, all with their helmets on (except Betty) as they settle into the cockpits of their planes. They had been tasked by Ritsuko to be here since they're constantly updating the systems in their aircraft to keep them up-to-date and better than ever.
Belle stood by Ritsuko and Misato, they and Maya now looking at the harmonics and vitals of the six pilots in the simulator cockpits. Though they were confused as to why Nick has his visor closed down, but they didn't ask him since they didn't want to disrupt his thoughts.
"Uh... Dr. Ritsuko, I know this might be a bit of a silly question, but what exactly are we doing?" Braedey now asked hesitantly.
"It's alright to ask, Braedey. We're testing the viability of creating an adaptive artificial intelligence autopilot system that will work in tune with you and the other pilots of your aircraft." Ritsuko explained to the brunette. "Thus, this will allow you more flexibility in the air to handle complex situations and operations without having to push or click so many buttons and switches while doing so."
"Huh... that's something I didn't expect." Braedey mused aloud. "Okay, then..."
Belle looks at the brunette on screen. "He's definitely not the kind of person I'd expect to be at the controls of a supersonic jet." She commented.
"Apparently, something had gone wrong with the paperwork he submitted in and had been assigned to being a pilot instead of engineer." Misato clarified. "He thinks someone tampered with his information, and his uncle, who happens to be the Commander, has been really hard on him for it."
"Yikes. Talk about some bad blood in the family." Belle shuddered.
'Especially after seeing those marks and bruises on his back.' Misato thought to herself, recalling to what she's seen the day before recalling to seeing Braedey's wounds back in the locker room.
