After being announced to Pilot of the Evangelion Air Force, Braedey Martin could not help but feel rather amazed or confused by his sudden allocation of his new position. Yes, he wasn't sure of being a Pilot since he wished to be a Mechanic or Engineer, but now, he's not sure of what he should be doing now. But feeling the praise and appreciation from flying the F-14 jet and becoming a Pilot, he felt happy in that moment. Nick even told him that this is the biggest accomplishment for any pilot to be able to soar with their own wings and be proud of becoming one.

One morning at the Katsuragi household, Braedey was getting breakfast set up and ready.. for the fifth time this week. He and Misato had set up a little schedule of who does what, though it seems that Braedey had been doing almost ALL of the chores allocated around the house.
'Sometimes, I do wonder about that woman.' Braedey thought to himself as he enjoyed the toast he was eating. 'She can be a tough and hardened woman while at work, but when she's at home, she can be a complete and utter slob and doesn't keep herself maintained and looking as good as she does at work. How can someone be two polar opposites honestly?'
Braedey then saw Misato walk in, though she looked rather frazzled and tired. "Good morning." He said.
Morning..." Misato yawned tiredly. She then cracks open a cold beer from the fridge and guzzles it down. She lets out a squeal after she drink it down. "This is how you get the day started!" Misato sighed in relief.
'Dear god. With how many beers she drinks in just one day or even a week, I'm shocked she doesn't have kidney or liver failure.' Braedey thought to himself. 'Who is she, the Demoman?' He shook his head from that. "Don't most people drink coffee instead of beer in the morning?" He asked out to Misato.
Misato gave a look. "Ever since ancient times, Japanese people have had white rice, miso soup, and sake in the morning." She said bluntly.
"That's in your case, right, Miss Misato?" Braedey spoke out and gave a look. "Whose turn was it to cook breakfast this morning? I think I know why you're still single at your age."
Misato slumped at this and gave a look back despite her drunken behaviour. "Well, excuse me for being so uncouth." She leans in close.
Braedey waved his hand in front of his face as he coughs. "Please don't do that. I can smell the alcohol coming off your breath."
Misato pouted and looks away. "Okay, you've made your point!"
"I've finished with breakfast." Braedey goes ahead and he cleans up his plate in the kitchen. "Are you really coming over to school today?" He asked in uncertainty to Misato.
"Of course I am." Misato looks to Braedey as she eats some toast. "It's for your future plans meeting. It's all part of the job." She added.
Braedey stopped and looks back. "No. You're just my guardian because I'm part of the EAF. If anyone is to decide what my future plans are, it be me and my parents."
