"Lack of weapon coordination. 12 failed attempts. Lack of situational awareness. And even nearly shot down another pilot in the process of the training exercise."
Inside of the Commander's main office, Captain Misato Katsuragi and Doctor Ritsuko Akagi were both standing before the desk of EAF Commander Travis Martin, with Deputy Commander Jerry Fuyutsuki standing right by him. The Commander's facial expression clearly read that he was not happy about what's been happening, with a file open on his desk before him, and it detailed all of the events that have happened since Braedey had arrived at the airbase.
"With all due respect, Commander." Misato spoke up. "I do not wish to place any blame or anything else, but the 3rd Pilot has been thrown into a completely different situation than anything he's ever been thrown into. Lack of flying or even combat experience, on top of that."
"On top of all of these, the low levels regarding the synchronous numbers are terribly detrimental." Jerry Fuyutsuki commented next. "These are not good for trying to create an artificial intelligence autopilot for the F-14 computer." He added in.
"We understand that, Deputy Commander." Ritsuko spoke up next. "But given the situation regarding with Braedey's situation, his mental health is something that we have to take into consideration."
"Regardless, this earlier incident involving nearly shooting down the Su-47 pilot during combat training is clear enough that this pilot should be reprimanded for his actions." Fuyutsuki added in next.
"I think reprimanding him would cause more trouble than resolving it." Misato spoke back. "It could cause more trouble than fixing it."
The Commander gives a firm look on his face. "You two are to rectify these errors and make sure this cannot happen again. If you don't, there will be consequences for you." He told them darkly.
"We will try." Ritsuko acknowledged back in response.
With that, both Ritsuko and Misato both left the office, the door slamming shut behind them. Once the two were gone, the room fell into darkness. A moment goes by, then what look to be a series of purple monoliths appear around Commander Travis and Fuyutsuki. The monoliths appear to have the word 'Steele' on top with a number below, and the words 'Sound Only' below.
"The news of the F-14 pilot's actions do not speak too highly of our chances of success." Steele 03 spoke up.
"Especially given how the pilot nearly shot down the Su-47 German pilot." Steele 02 added in next. "This pilot is rather unpredictable and dangerous."
"You best not forget about the main point of why the Evangelion Air Force had been set up, Travis Martin." Steele 01 spoke out harshly.
"Of course." Travis replied in a calm and relaxed her confident voice to those around him in this very room. "Not to worry. Everything is proceeding as planned."
