YG Entertainment Announces ENHYPEN's Jia Will Not Participate In ENHYPEN's New World Tour "WALK THE LINE" + BELIFT LAB Responds
𝖲𝖾𝗉𝗍𝖾𝗆𝖻𝖾𝗋 3, 2024
On September 2, BELIFT announced ENHYPEN's new world tour "WALK THE LINE" after they completed their last world tour recently. This tour will kick off in Goyang on October 5 and 6.
However, YG Entertainment, Jia's agency, announced that Jia will not be able to partake in the new world tour with ENHYPEN due to scheduling conflicts. Jia is co-managed by both BELIFT LAB and YG so it seems the companies have come to a disagreement.
In the announcement YG stated, "We are sorry to inform that Jia will not be able to join the group ENHYPEN on their new world tour. She will still be present for all other activities and schedules with the group, but she will be absent at the world tour. This is due to the tour conflicting with Jia's fixed schedule as both a solo artist and member of BABYMONSTER."
Soon after YG's announcement, BELIFT proceeded with their own statement to quickly address the situation.
"Hello, this is BELIFT LAB. After releasing their 2nd album, ENHYPEN are set to go on their 3rd world tour. Regarding ENHYPEN's Jia, it seems there have been some issues with overlapping dates and we are currently having further discussions with the partnering agency, YG Entertainment. We are looking into possible solutions."
It seems that despite YG's official announcement, BELIFT LAB are trying to keep Jia as a part of the group's tour.
