The boys of SEVENTEEN were among the most welcoming and lively people Jiwon had ever encountered. Unlike many groups that might hesitate to embrace a newcomer, they made her feel as if she had always been part of their family. Flattered by their warmth, especially Jeonghan's attentiveness, Jiwon felt a sense of belonging wash over her. When the boys began recounting amusing tales from their trainee days, she couldn't help but laugh until her stomach ached.

Minghao and Jun took great delight in adding their own humorous twists to the stories, often correcting the exaggerated details in Mandarin, much to the playful chagrin of their fellow members. At one point, Wonwoo, who shared her passion for video games, engaged her in a discussion about how the latest instalment of FF2 could enhance its quality. Jeonghan leaned in with a conspiratorial whisper, revealing that Wonwoo was typically a man of few words. The fact that he was so comfortably chatting with her felt like a significant acknowledgement of their budding friendship.

Jiwon's heart swelled with emotion at the thought, but Seungkwan quickly lightened the mood by sharing a hilarious story about the time Chan accidentally cut off the music during a dance session with Soonyoung and Seungcheol during their trainee days. "I swear, Jiwon noona, I'd never been that scared in my life!" Chan exclaimed, his eyes wide with the memory. The table erupted in laughter as everyone chimed in with their own versions of the tale. Jiwon felt an unbreakable bond forming among them, a sense of unity that enveloped her, except for Joshua, who remained uncharacteristically quiet, only speaking up to ask for a bowl of food that was just out of reach.

Choosing to ignore Joshua's distance, Jiwon shifted her focus. Jihoon, typically reserved like Wonwoo, surprised her by expressing his admiration for her production work. She felt honoured and even invited him to collaborate on her next comeback. "You're enchanting all our quiet members, Jiwon; I'm impressed," Soonyoung teased, a playful grin on his face. Jiwon chuckled, playfully nudging his arm. "You all are so nice, it's hard not to talk to everyone!"

Seokmin suddenly sprang from his chair, pointing an accusing finger at Soonyoung. "He's not!" Seungkwan joined Seokmin and rose in support, "He once made a shy Seokmin greet him properly on his very first day!" Soonyoung buried his face in his hands, embarrassment colouring his cheeks.

In a mock-serious tone, Soonyoung retorted, "Yah! I've changed! I'm much kinder now." Seungkwan, with a face that could curdle milk, chimed in, "He hasn't changed at all!" Soonyoung, in a feigned show of indignation, extended his hand to point at Seungkwan but miscalculated, knocking over a glass of water that splashed across Jiwon's top.

A collective gasp rose from the table, followed by a moment of stunned silence. Then, chaos erupted as everyone rushed to her side, concern etched on their faces. Jeonghan, quick to react, passed her napkins, while Soonyoung launched into a frantic stream of apologies. "I'm fine, guys, really!" Jiwon reassured them, grabbing Soonyoung's trembling hand, which was nearly in tears. "It was an accident; you don't need to worry at all."
