"Yes, it's perfect! I've checked the pictures and I'll be there tomorrow afternoon," Jayoung exclaimed, her voice bright and animated as she pressed her phone snugly against her ear. Jiwon glanced up from her snack, a pack of chips clutched in her hand, a few crumbs dusting her cheeks. Jayoung finished her call, bidding farewell to the assistant on the other end before sliding her phone into her pocket with a satisfied smile.

The moment Jayoung caught sight of Jiwon's endearing expression, laughter bubbled up inside her. "What?" Jiwon asked, her brow furrowed in confusion, bits of chip still clinging to her lips. Jayoung waved her hand dismissively, the playful spark in her eyes dancing with mischief. "Nothing," she replied, plopping down beside Jiwon on the couch. Despite her friend's reassurances, Jiwon still wore a perplexed look.

Jayoung flicked on the television, the screen glowing to life as she skimmed through the options for their movie marathon. "So, what are we watching next?" she asked, excitement bubbling in her voice. "The Fault in Our Stars," Jiwon replied, a hint of eagerness creeping into her tone. "I wanna cry again."

Jayoung turned to face her, deadpan. "I thought we'd had enough of a crying session with Titanic!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with exhilaration. Jiwon arched an eyebrow, a smirk playing on her lips. "Are we complaining?" she challenged. Jayoung quickly neutralized her expression. "That we aren't," she said with a grin, and the two erupted into giggles as Jayoung selected the movie.

The ambience in the room was warm and cosy, filled with the sweet scent of snacks and the soft glow of the television screen. Jiwon and Jayoung were celebrating Jayoung's hen night, an event that had been long anticipated. Jiwon felt an exhilarating rush of excitement at the thought of her best friend's upcoming wedding—a dream she had cherished for years. She had always been a fervent supporter of Jayoung and Eric's romance, dating back to their awkward middle school days. Who would have thought they'd come this far together?

After an afternoon of tea, the boys, Joshua and Eric, had left them to their festivities, and since then, the girls hadn't heard a peep from them. Jiwon had been determined to ignore Joshua's presence since the awkward moment after Jeonghan's call. Although he had tried to apologise during breakfast, the tension had been palpable, and thankfully, Eric and Jayoung hadn't picked up on it. Jiwon had simply dismissed Joshua's apology, choosing instead to focus on her preparations for the YSL runway show she was set to attend.

For the perfect hen night, Jayoung had planned a delightful movie marathon coupled with a pampering skincare session. By now, they had watched Mean Girls, Titanic, and The Notebook. The clock read 1:23 AM, and neither of them was willing to call it a night just yet. Jiwon, with her expert nail art skills, had meticulously done Jayoung's nails while they watched the love story unfold. With white sheet masks adorning their faces, the two friends chatted and munched on snacks, their laughter echoing off the walls.

"It's the perfect hen night," Jayoung declared halfway through Titanic, just as Jack was trying to prove his innocence after saving Rose. Jiwon couldn't help but smile at her friend's enthusiasm, her heart swelling with happiness.
