Wilbur POV

He can't stop thinking about his duo. Quackity is so attractive... He doesn't remember much from the other night, but he knows they danced together for a bit.
Yesterday was horrid and he slept for most of it. The strength of that wine seems illegal since he's never felt that awful after drinking.

But Quackity...
He watches the other man who is sliding on a shirt and respectfully lets his eyes roam over his body.

He sighs sadly, knowing it would feel so good to get to be with him. But... nothing about their situation works. Hey, maybe in another life it would.

The shorter male turns around to stare at him accusingly. "Are you watching me change?"

"Uh..." Wilbur looks away. "No, nope," he lies.

"I caught you anyways," Quackity replies.

"Fine, guilty," Wilbur grins instead. He runs his gaze over the shorter assassin again.

"Get a boyfriend or something you idiot," is all he gets in response.

"I wish, don't think he's responding well to my tactics," Wilbur rolls over on his bed.

Quackity puts a hand on his hip, staring disapprovingly. "Uh huh... maybe your tactics aren't that great."

"Yeah... they aren't," the taller male shrugs, then changes the topic. "Sooo... excited for the next mission?"

"No."

"Aw come on, it's gonna be great!" Wilbur insists.

"I'm so done with going to alleyways," Quackity grumbles. "Give me a challenge."

"Oh this is a challenge, the police often roam the area, lots of crime there," Wilbur makes his voice drop to an ominous tone. "We don't want to get caught."

"... We are going to an area with lots of police..? Are you kidding me!? This agency is stupid and so is the commander." Quackity snaps.

Wilbur flinches, he's always looked up to the commander and only ever heard about all the good things she's done. He also feels bad for her knowing that her husband was murdered and people have the audacity to claim she's the culprit. He's been around her his whole life, he's sure the conspiracy isn't true... though it was fun to tell Quackity about. She's going to help him find the people who killed his parents after all.

"Wilbur. Listen to me. If I go too far out of line she's going to have me killed, you realize that, right?" Quackity says seriously.

Wilbur hesitates. "She won't have to kill you if you don't go too far out of line. It's really simple..."

"Are you implying it's my fault if she decides to have me killed?" Quackity challenges him.

"I... uh..." he shrinks back a little. "Only in specific cases," he mumbles.

The other assassin gives him a scathing glare in response.
"You've been influenced... guess I can't blame you," his gaze softens.

"What?" Wilbur asks.

"Influenced, you've been here for a long time... even if the commander turns, well, bad, you'd still follow her." Quackity explains.

The taller male thinks for a moment. "No... I wouldn't." he replies, "I believe in good. If she stops being good, I'll stop following."

The shorter assassin looks pleasantly surprised by his response. "Huh... maybe you're not so blind after all then..." he shrugs, "I don't like her... I don't have much of a reason yet, but she just gives me bad vibes."
