Wilbur POV

He pours himself another drink and starts to gulp it down yet again. The girl he had been dancing with had left the party early due to feeling sick, so he's sitting and waiting for Quackity nervously.
If he isn't down soon... something went wrong.

He puts the empty glass down, he feels a nice buzz from the alcohol.

Suddenly he sees Quackity walking back down the stairs quietly. He gapes and staggers up from his seat, walking over.

"Quackity!" he exclaims as he nears, "What... happened?" he then notices that Quackity has some bloodstains on his shirt. It looks like it could be just a wine spill but he knows better.

"It's done," Quackity murmurs.

"Holy shit, never do that again," Wilbur snaps finally, grabbing his shoulders. "We are supposed to be a team!"

"Shhh," the shorter male lifts a finger and presses it to Wilbur's lips. "Quiet down, you'll draw attention. You had too much alcohol... didn't you."

"Probably" the other admits. "You want some?"

"No thanks," Quackity murmurs.

"More for me then!" Wilbur pours more wine for himself at the table. Quackity just sighs and rolls his eyes.

Wilbur turns back to face him, then scans him over for a moment.

Wow... he's hot.

He giggles a little and Quackity starts to look concerned.
"Wilbur... maybe we should go."

"No, no wait, not yet," Wilbur steps closer and sets the half empty wine glass down.
"You look... great."

"And you're drunk," the shorter assassin puts a hand on his hip with a sigh.

Wilbur slowly reaches out towards him and curls his arm around his waist, pulling him in.

"W- wha..." Quackity stares at him. "Wilbur?"

"Do you want to dance? Just for a bit," Wilbur asks him. "You're really hot."

The shorter assassin hesitates before slowly reaching up and resting his hands on Wilbur's shoulders. "Fine... but only because you're drunk."

Quackity POV

Wilbur goes serious all the sudden and genuinely starts to slow dance with him. Quackity feels himself flush as the two dance in their own little corner.

"Wilbur..." he murmurs as the taller male's hand rests on his lower back, gently pulling him even closer. He's looking down at him, completely entranced.

"I'm so lucky to have you," he tells Quackity.

"Wha..." the shorter assassin stares at him a bit worriedly. He's definitely quite drunk and it shows. "Why me?"

"You're just lovely," Wilbur mumbles.

"Honey... you're very drunk, maybe we should go," Quackity plays along with the relationship Wilbur seems to think they have.

"I'm alright," Wilbur insists.

The shorter male looks around the party nervously, how long will it be until someone realizes the host is dead?
The song changes as he continues to dance with Wilbur. The other assassin starts to lean in closer and closer until they are so close that they could almost kiss.

Quackity slowly pulls away from him to avoid it.

He's kinda cute when he's drunk...
He shakes off the thought and gently takes Wilbur's hands, pulling him slowly twords the exit.

"Let's go back home, then we can do... um... fun stuff," he suggests, trying to be convincing. "It'll be better there."

"Okay..." Wilbur replies. He follows Quackity out of the party silently. They get a few looks and the shorter male feels embarrassed. He keeps his head down.

Wilbur's hand goes around his waist and he leans on Quackity while he calls the agency to tell them the mission has been completed. He's barely supporting Wilbur over his own shaking. He's never killed someone in that close of a range before.

"Mmm..." the taller male lowers his head to Quackity's shoulder.
"You smell good."

"Thank you," the shorter assassin replies. "You do... too."
In reality he can smell the wine on Wilbur's breath with a hint of cologne and it's making him feel sick.

"Come on, home is this way," he starts to lead Wilbur away from the mansion and towards the alleyways to be picked up by the others.

"We should have danced longer," Wilbur murmurs. He seems to be coming out of his drunk haze a bit. "You did a good job though..."

"You know you're drunk right?" Quackity asks.

"I know," the taller male groans a little.

They stand there, silently waiting until the helicopter lowers. Quackity practically has to pull Wilbur up inside since he's so out of it.

"Wine has never... been this bad before," he mumbles. "I only had a few drinks."

"Perhaps it was very strong?" Quackity asks. Wilbur just slumps and rests his head on the other assassin's shoulder in response.

The shorter assassin looks over at him worriedly. "Hey... it's going to be fine," he says as he sees his nauseous expression.
Wilbur just leans quietly on him the whole way back to the agency.

-----

Quackity sits on the bed, patiently waiting for Wilbur to leave the bathroom again. He's been spending a lot of time in there throwing up, that wine was definitely too strong for it to be typical.
That's why he never drinks at parties, that and one other reason.

He feels bad for Wilbur though, he just wanted to dance but he couldn't even do that because he felt sick.
Quackity shakes his head and sighs, leaning back on his bed as the taller male staggers back out of the bathroom looking pale.

He flops on the bed and groans. Quackity watches him lay there sadly.
"That's why you don't drink," he says casually.

"I don't need your comments right now, my head hurts," Wilbur grumbles.

Quackity sighs. He slowly gets up and goes to grab him something to drink and pain pills for the headache.
He comes back and sits down on Wilbur's bed. "Here..." he says, handing the things over.

Wilbur props himself up on his arms and takes the water and pills. He looks so pale and sick that the shorter male is genuinely worried for him.

At least he isn't mean or angry when he's drunk...

Quackity slowly eases himself down by Wilbur's side as he takes the pills. The taller slowly looks over at the shorter assassin and flops back down on the bed.
Quackity slowly moves closer and presses into his side, hoping to provide any comfort. He understands how horrible you can feel being drunk... alcohol affects him very strongly and he spent many nights alone and hurting after his former duo had convinced him to drink... the person before he had Luzu.

Wilbur sighs and slowly puts his hand on top of Quackity's. The shorter male feels heat rush to his face at the touch. He doesn't jerk away or anything like that. Instead he chooses to ignore it, knowing that Wilbur is feeling very bad, he needs this right now.

The two lay there together for a long time before Wilbur eventually falls asleep. When that happens, Quackity gets up and walks to his own bed.
He hopes it's better tomorrow and the taller male isn't too hungover. He hesitates as he remembers the short dance they had shared... it was surprisingly nice, he almost hopes to do it again.
