Wilbur stares, unsure what to do now with the revelation that the other assassin was trying to kill him. His mind is already working, he decides to act flattered.

"Aw really? You were supposed to kill me? Am I really that good?"

"No, you're terrible," the other assassin replies.

All the sudden the sound of police sirens is heard. The other man turns, the hand holding the gun dropping to his side as he sees the blue and red flashing lights getting closer. His visible eye has widened now and he scans around the alleyway as if trying to find a way to get out safely.
Wilbur knows the police would find them easy if they tried to run. Then he remembers the hiding spot he had made note of when he walked past.

He glances at the other assassin.
"Stay quiet and I just might save your life," he hisses, then grabs his arm and starts to drag him over there. The other assassin starts to raise his gun slightly before thinking about what the taller man had said.

Wilbur pushes him into the gap in the alleyway, slipping in there as well. He holds up part of his trenchcoat over the gap, shifting them into the shadows. Anyone who glanced wouldn't see them, they would have to come real close to realize.

The shorter assassin has stopped breathing. Wilbur holds his breath too as walking feet come into the alleyway. The other assassin's knee is pressed against Wilbur's crotch and he wants to shift to ease the discomfort but he can't.

"Someone's dead here," one of the policemen says to another.

"Probably the gangsters around here acting up again," the other gruff voice replies. The walking feet pause by the body.

"Looks to me he's been dead at least 5 minutes or more, the person who did it is probably long gone," a third voice says.

Wilbur bites his lip hard, his heartbeat is going wildly fast.

The walking feet start to retreat, their voices mumbling.

Wilbur finally lets himself take a breath, his gaze going to the other assassin pressed close to him. The shorter male slowly moves his gloved hand up, slipping his mask down to breathe. He does have a rather pretty face.

"You're a guy right?" Wilbur whispers.

He looks at him like he's really stupid. "Yeah, duh."

Wilbur is very aware of the other assassin's knee pressed against him.
"Can you stop crushing my dick?" he hisses.

The shorter male looks down there, then slowly shifts his knee the best he can. They are so close, Wilbur can feel all his body heat. He could practically lean in and kiss him right now.

"All clear?" the other man asks, looking annoyed with Wilbur's presence near him.

Wilbur slowly puts his trenchcoat back down. The other assassin quickly makes his way out of the gap. He starts to climb up to the roof again, yellow feathered wings suddenly spread from his back for the first time. Wilbur gapes as the assassin gets onto the roof and drops out of sight.

He starts to follow, knowing rooftops are the best way to not be seen from the ground. It's also the best way for the helicopter to come get him.

The other assassin is turned away, talking into what must be a mic. He then turns as he hears Wilbur approach on the roof.

"Thanks for helping me," he mutters finally.

"Of course, you saved me first," the taller male holds out a hand. "I'm Wilbur."

"I know, it's in your file," The other assassin replies. "Will Gold, goes by Wilbur Soot. Brown curly hair with a white streak. 6 foot 5 inches, 25 years old."
