Love can weigh you down or help you take flight,
The higher you soar the brighter your light,
Night or day my feelings never waiver,
I still reflect on the first kiss I gave her,
You never know the true cost of love until it's lost,
Your eyes leak salt while your skin crawls with frost,
I wonder if this pain will find its way to the ever after,
If I can't repair in life what lead us to disaster,
For in my eyes our love was the greatest of all time,
If we can't reunite it would be the most heinous crime,
I pray that every soul that reads my declaration,
In return prays for our true love reconciliation.
