Is there any future iteration of us where we don't separate?
A duo from school days to cemetery soil for new life to propagate,
I don't know why our destinies didn't align here and now,
I just know there were necessary lessons for us to learn how,I learned to be patient and not to place blame,
Every person has a wild streak no other should tame,
My broken heart gave me courage to follow my passion,
Although slow to realize the finished product in fashion,I now ration time between work and play,
It helps that my work is my natural way to pray,
I know deep down we have potential to reconnect,
I won't let our story together be over and out just yet,So to you my love, prepare yourself to see my smiling face,
I'm gaining traction and speed towards finish line of loves race,
The pace of my heart beat could crack a metronome,
Such a beautiful tone, it's the sound of our forever home.Farls Tokley

PoetryWARNING: A few of these poems are not suited for children. The following is a collection of poems that are a fair representation of feelings I had and have for a special person or two. As well as a few scattered memories of one night interludes.
