Time skip
3 months later
"Shh... it's okay Mika don't cry" Armin whispered, stroking her hair
"Mika mummies alright don't worry " Armin said
"Eren what happened " Armin asked
"M-m mikasa fell" Eren said
"Is the baby okay?" Armin Asked
"I don't know" Eren said
"Eren, I would've told you if something was wrong, where's Mikasa's?" Armin said
"In the room being examined" Eren said
"Is she in pain?" Armin asked
"WHAT DO YOU THINK" Eren yelled
"Eren I'm sorry " Armin said
"Eren" The Doctor said
"Huh" Eren said
The doctor walked in, her expression calm yet serious. "Eren, can we talk?"
Eren's heart raced as he followed her into the hallway, leaving Mika in Armin's comforting embrace. "Is she okay? Is the baby okay?" he asked, trying to keep his voice steady.
"The fall caused some complications, but we're monitoring her closely. Right now, Mikasa is stable.We are taking her to surgery. The baby still alive so far was going to have an emergency C-section!" The doctor reassured him. "However, we need to keep her here for further evaluation and observation." The doctor said as Eren nodded, his mind racing.
"What does that mean for the baby?" He asks as tears in his eyes start to form as Armin and Mika watch from a far seeing Mikasa in pain and going to surgery Eren runs up and kisses her.
"Babe i'm here" Eren said
"Eren" Mikasa said
"Yes" Eren said
"It hurts" Mikasa said
" I know" Eren said as The doctors take Mikasa along with Eren to c-section.
As they wheeled Mikasa into the surgical room, Eren held her hand tightly, feeling her trembling beneath his grip. "You're going to be okay. I'm right here," he promised, his voice steadier than he felt.
"I'm scared," she admitted, her eyes searching for reassurance.
"I know. But you're the strongest person I know. You've got this," he replied, trying to mask his own fear. The medical team began prepping her, and Eren stepped back, allowing the doctors to do their work.
As the bright lights overhead illuminated the room, Mikasa took a deep breath. "Eren, please..."
"I won't leave," he said firmly, moving closer again. "I'm not going anywhere."
The anesthesiologist approached, explaining what would happen next. Eren tried to absorb the information, but his focus remained on Mikasa. She squeezed his hand, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.
"I love you," she whispered.
"I love you too," Eren replied, his heart racing. "More than anything."
As the doctors began the procedure, Eren watched with bated breath, hoping for a safe delivery.
A few hours earlier
"Babe wake up" Eren said
"Mmmmm" Mikasa groaned
"Baby wake up" Eren saud
"What?" Mikasa asked
"Do you want me to get Mika ready or you?" Eren asked
"Me " She answered
Eren smiled as he helped Mikasa sit up, brushing a few strands of hair away from her face. "Alright, let's get you ready then," he said, handing her a cozy robe.
As Mikasa slipped it on, she glanced at the clock. "What time is it?"
"Just past seven. I thought we could have breakfast together before the chaos of the day begins," Eren replied, heading to the kitchen.
