Reader's POV

As the days turned into weeks, Mika's excitement for her new sibling grew. The nursery had transformed into a vibrant space filled with colors and cheerful designs, thanks in part to her enthusiastic help. Eren and Mika spent an entire weekend painting the walls, with Mikasa supervising to ensure everything went smoothly.

"Okay, Mika, what color do you want for this wall?" Eren asked, holding up a can of soft blue paint.

"Blue! Like the sky!" Mika exclaimed, her eyes wide with enthusiasm.

"Good choice!" Eren said, smiling as he began to apply the paint to the wall.

Mika eagerly grabbed her own paintbrush, dipping it into the blue paint and following her dad's strokes, giggling as they splashed some paint on each other. "Look, Daddy! We're making a big sky for the baby!"

"You're right! And maybe we can add some fluffy clouds too!" Eren suggested, glancing at Mikasa for approval.

Mikasa chuckled, leaning against the doorframe, watching them with a warm smile. "I think that sounds perfect. Let's make it the coziest nursery ever."

Mika's imagination ran wild as they painted. "Can we paint stars too? And a big sun? The baby will love it!"

"Absolutely! How about we create a whole day and night scene?" Eren proposed, and Mika nodded eagerly.

They worked together, blending colors and creating playful designs on the walls. As they painted, Mika talked animatedly about all the things she wanted to do with her sibling—playing games, sharing toys, and reading bedtime stories.

"Do you think the baby will like my drawings?" Mika asked, pausing to look up at her dad.

"Of course! I'm sure the baby will love them," Eren assured her, giving her a thumbs up. "And you'll be the best big sister ever!"

By the end of the day, the nursery was filled with cheerful colors, bright stars, and a smiling sun painted above a cozy little bed. Mika stepped back to admire their handiwork, her heart swelling with pride.

"Look at our amazing sky!" she said, beaming up at her dad.

"It looks incredible, Mika. You did an amazing job," Eren replied, pulling her in for a hug.

As they finished up, Mikasa joined them in the nursery, her heart full. "You two have created something special. This will be a wonderful place for our new baby."

The love and excitement that filled the nursery felt tangible, wrapping around them like a warm embrace. Each stroke of paint was a promise of the beautiful memories yet to come as their family grew.

The next day Levi came over to help put the nursery furniture together.

The following day, Mikasa was bustling around the house, making sure everything was in order for Levi's arrival. Eren was setting up the new crib in the nursery while Mika proudly showcased her artwork on the walls. The anticipation of finally putting the furniture together filled the air with excitement.

When Levi arrived, he walked in with his usual no-nonsense demeanor, carrying a toolbox and a roll of blueprints. "Where do you want this furniture?" he asked, glancing around the brightly painted nursery.

"Right over here!" Eren replied, pointing to the corner where the crib and changing table were set to go. "We've got everything picked out; we just need your expert help to put it all together."
