Chapter Twenty Just Like His Mother!

Reader's POV

The next Mika to see her parents and her new little brother she had a teddy bear and a balloon and was so excited she was jumping up and down in the halls Armin was trying to calm her down.

Mika could hardly contain her excitement as she bounced on her toes, clutching her teddy bear tightly in one hand and the balloon in the other. "I'm a big sister now!" She screamed

"Mika calm down There are other people trying to rest in the hospital! I know you're excited that you've got a calm down okay" Armin said

"Do you think Mummy and Daddy have named him yet?" She asked

"Most likely you can ask them when you get into the room but be quiet of a baby has to rest!" He replied

Mika nodded, trying her best to contain her enthusiasm. "Okay, I'll be quiet! I just really want to see him!" She whispered, her eyes wide with anticipation.

As they walked toward the room, Armin gently reminded her, "Remember to be gentle, okay? He's just a tiny baby."

"Got it!" Mika replied, taking a deep breath to calm her racing heart. They finally reached the door, and Armin knocked softly before peeking inside.

"Mikasa, Eren, can we come in?" he asked, his voice low.

"Of course! We're ready for you!" Eren called back, a smile spreading across his face.

Mika pushed the door open, her gaze instantly locking onto her mother, who was cradling Eli in her arms. "Mummy! Daddy!" she exclaimed, rushing in, careful not to trip over her own excitement.

"Look who's here!" Mikasa said, her heart swelling with love as she gestured for Mika to come closer. "This is your little brother."

Mika's eyes sparkled as she approached, her teddy bear forgotten for the moment. "Hi, baby" she whispered, leaning over to get a better look at her new sibling. "Have you named him yet?"

Eren smiled, glancing at Mikasa, who nodded. "We were thinking of Eli, but we wanted to hear what you think."

"I love it!" Mika grinned. "Eli is the best name ever!" She reached out a small finger to gently touch the baby's hand. "I'm going to take care of you!"

Mikasa felt a wave of relief wash over her, seeing the bond forming already. "You're going to be the best big sister, Mika."

Eren wrapped an arm around Mikasa, watching the sweet moment unfold. "This is just the beginning of our new adventure as a family."

Time skip

After 3 days of being hospitalized they were finally released to go home. Annie, Armin and Mika prepared the house for her parents' arrival. Eren pack the bags while Mikasa was being discharged. Then they headed to the car with their newborn baby.

As they walked out of the hospital, the sun greeted them warmly, signaling the start of a new chapter for their family. Mikasa held Eli close, cradling him gently in her arms while Eren carried the bags.

"Are you ready to go home?" Eren asked, glancing at Mikasa.

"Yes, I can't wait to be in our own space again," Mikasa replied, her heart fluttering with excitement.

When they reached the car, Eren carefully placed the bags in the trunk while Mikasa settled Eli into the car seat. "There you go, little guy. You're going to love our home," she said softly, brushing her fingers against Eli's tiny hand.
