"Tutuloy ba ang plano mo Cads? It almost the weekend." tanong ni Rence sa akin.
"Yes. Sasabihin ko palang sakaniya." I answered. I want to smoke cigarettes so bad sobrang stress ko na sa babaeng ito.
"What?! Hindi mo pa nasabi?" He exclaimed.
Kumunot ang noo ko sakaniya.
"Damn. Magkapatid nga kayo! You're both nosy."
Napailing nalang ako sa konklusyon ni Polo. He did tell Arvie about it, I know for sure that she will disagree. Hindi manlang ako binigyan ng chance ni Rence para malambing muna ang kapatid niya at baka sakaling taos puso niyang tatanggapin ang misyon.
"Ano ng plano Cads? For sure Arvie will disagree to this, bakit ba kasi si Arvie pa ang nilagay mo sa alanganin? Ang daming pwedeng isalang diyan." tanong ni Jake.
"Do you want me to replace her with Nhicka instead?" I asked sarcastically.
Ngumisi si Jake sa akin kaya napailing ako.
"Subukan mo para ikaw naman ang patayin ko." and with that laugh I heard a hint of sarcasm.
"You have to tell me the plan Cads. Galit na galit si Arvie sa nalaman niyang desisyon mo na nanggaling sa akin. Bakit siya? We have trained soldiers para diyan." nagtatakang tanong ni Rence.
"Tell them what you told me." utos ni Polo.
I sighed heavily.
"This will be Arvie's last mission."
"WHAT?!"
Tumawa si Polo, I'm gonna punch this asshole.
"Yan ang talagang magiging mitya ng katapusan ng relasyon niyo, Cads. I'm telling you, it's a bad idea. Don't even go there." Rence told me like it was the last thing Arvie will let go.
"I'm asking your sister's hand in marriage." I said with finality before I could even speak, malamig na suntok ang tumama sa pisngi ko.
What the fucking hell!
"Rence!"
"Rence ano ba! Polo do something!" sigaw ni Jake.
I heard Polo laughed, napadaing ako sa sakit na naramdaman. I was actually expecting this, it's harder than I thought.
"Tangina mo!" Rence cursed so loud.
If Arvie isn't involve in this issue I would kill him right now. Pero hindi ko ginawa, hindi ako gumanti, I understand. We may be friends but it's nothing compare to his relationship to her.
Yes, you heard that right. This is Arvie's last mission before I let her stay at home. After what happened last time, I don't want to risk her life again.
I know that whatever I do she will never leave this organization but I know for a fact that she also wants to have a peaceful life. She dreamt of getting married and stay at home to take care of the kids.
We talked about it sometime and I want that too. I want what she wants, kahit saan kahit ano basta kasama siya. This mission will be her last after this, tulad ni Jannah maiiwan siya sa opisina ng RCG.
