Tuesday morning and I left the office early. Papunta na ako sa hideout ngayon para sa meeting ng isa pang batch ng maghahanap kay Arvie sa ibang lugar.
One call from my phone and I immediately answered.
"Hello?"
"Where are you?" it's Polo.
"Papunta na ako. Andiyan na ba sila?" I asked.
"Yes. Are you near?" he asked again.
"30 minutes, why?"
He paused.
Bakit?
"Why?" I asked again.
"They found the jewelry, Arvie found inside Hubert's toilet."
"Where? What about it?"
"Cads.." It was Nhicka on the line now.
"Come on, anong meron?" iritableng tanong ko
"Arvie wore it in the conference. It was seen near Sandoval in Palawan. A local sold it to a pawnshop."
I stopped. Malapit na ako sa RCG pero napahinto ako, I didn't notice that she wore it.
"Was it sold by Arvie?" I asked, feeling hopeful. Please tell me it's her. Tatlong buwan na, I want to know where is she.
"Hindi pa namin alam. May nagsabi lang sa mga tao natin na nandon." sagot ni Nhicka sa akin.
"I'm on my way, prepare the chopper."
I ended the call, wala ng tanong tanong. If the bracelet was found in Palawan, there's a possibility that she stayed there. Pero paano? We searched the whole Palawan, wala na doon ang malapit na lugar na ay Indonesia.
Tho I don't doubt Arvie survival skills, paano siya nakakakain? Is she still with Hubert?
Dumating ako sa RCG at nagpark sa garahe, I took off my coat, remove my tie and leave it in the car. Sinalubong ako ng iilang miyembro ng RCG.
"Boss, nag-hihintay sila Sir Polo sa loob. Nakahanda na rin ang helicopter sa taas, anytime pwede na umalis."
Tumango ako dumiretso sa loob.
True enough in Kram's office, kompleto silang nakaupo don. Even Hera, Prime, Jannah and Stehen is here. Nakaupo ang iba sa mga swivel chair kung saan nakatapat lahat sa napakaramig monitor. Some were sitted in the sofa.
"I'm going, where's the kids?" I asked nang mag tama ang paningin namen ni Hera.
"Let's just continue this meeting when I come back." I added while I get the intercoms on Kram's table.
"Dre.." Polo called.
"Cads, sit down." It was Rence who took my attention. Nilingon ko siya and he looked different now. They all looked tired and weary. Nakakapanibago na ganito nila ako tignan ngayon. Ano bang problema?
"Why? What's wrong? Kram connect my intercoms, same frequencies." I told Kram not minding their drama.
"The result of the investigation came out. The locals stole the bracelet from a cadaver found in the innermost parts of the Sandoval forest. Ang sabi ng nag-sanla sa bayan ng Narra, bangkay na babae ang--"

I chuckled.
They all looked shocked with my reaction, para bang ang reaction ko ang nagpagulat sakanila at hindi ang balitang sinabi ni Rence. Alam na ninyong lahat?
"Who told you that? The locals? Hindi nga natin alam kung binayaran din ng mga tao ni Hubert iyan para magsinungaling at palabasing patay na si Arvie." natatawang sagot ko sakanila.
