Chapter 4: From stangers to best friends

I closed the door behind me and my phone got a notification.

Roshni : We are cooked

Zara : Literally, Mr H just showed me footage of me in your dad's study

Roshni : Wait what?!

Zara : Yeah I also told them about everything and clearly there are things we don't know

Roshni: Whaaaatttt?!, so how did everyone react?

Zara : I don't really know they seemed confused and shocked they just told us to go to our rooms after I told them.

Roshni : That's kinda strange

Zara : yeah, enough about me , how are things on your side?

Roshni : well we got busted ,my dad decided to ground us and Rahul is not allowed to have friends over for a month

Zara : wait why is it only Rahul who can't have friends over?

Roshni : Actually Rahul went ahead and took the blame for everything and also said he forced me to help .

Zara : ncwwaaa🥺 he's protecting his sister from the wrath of their parents.

Roshni : no that's not it and I'm also gonna need a favour from you.

Zara : what,what is it and why do I get the feeling that I should be afraid.

Roshni : well I kinda sorta told him that if he took the blame I would get you to be his girlfriend but just so he can make his ex jealous.

Zara : You want me to be your brother's fake girlfriend.

Roshni : yes, you see the only reason my brother didn't go to school Yesterday is because his girlfriend dumped him and he really liked her.

Zara :  what am I getting out of all of this?

Roshni : Rahul promised that you'd get whatever you want epic girlfriend gift , flowers anything.

Zara : ...

Roshni : please my brother needs this I wouldn't sell you to my brother if he didn't need this, this girl embarrassed him in front of everyone and I'm asking you as my best friend to help get vengeance.

Zara : best friends you've only known me for two days.

Roshni : Ohhh sorry I went to far

Zara : no it's okay I would love to be your best friend

Roshni : I'm literally screaming right now , so what's your answer

Zara : girl I'll do anything for good old vengeance

Roshni : thank you so much I'll go tell him the good news right way catch ya later

Zara : byee

I put my phone down and threw myself on the bed laying face up . My problems were only just beginning and I had to push through .

(Monday morning)

Mr and Mrs H were quite and were hardly anywhere to be seen yesterday it was a quiet day . Selene went over to Zade's place Zain went to basketball then football practise I must say the kid is multitalented. Zoë stayed home with me all day we were just playing games and chatting.
