The reader is an older model of drone that requires batteries instead of oil.

Uzi-
She thought that you looked slightly different but didn't exactly question it. She really knew something was up when you got sliced by a disassembly drone(episode 1 or 2), and you didn't even leak oil. Instead, you had thick wires that had gotten cut.
That being said, she wouldn't really mind all that much, only paying attention when it seems like your battery is low.

N-
He knew because you were walking together when your battery went out, causing you to collapse on the ground.
He'd be a bit worried if you hadn't charged or changed your batteries in a while, but he wouldn't treat you that differently, otherwise.

V-
She had actually been told about your condition by Tessa, so she is fully aware that you need batteries instead of oil.
The interactions between you would essentially be the same, though.

J-
She knew when she met you that you were different, but she couldn't quite place it. You were sort of..uncanny valley? Like a human seeing a mannequin for the first time. It bothered her until you finally revealed that you were a slightly older model.
She'd be slightly put off by you sometimes.

Thad-
It bothered him that you never left your room or that you hardly engaged in physical activity, but when you told him about how you run on batteries, he understood - especially after discovering that you had only 5 batteries left.
He'd be protective of you, but nobody would really be able to tell a difference in how he talks/acts.

Doll-
She happened to walk in your room right as you were carefully replacing your batteries, and that's how she figured out that you were an older model.
She'd help you change your batteries, and she'd keep a mental note of the time that you'd begin running out of energy.

Lizzy-
Much like was the case with N, you were walking together when you powered off, and she realized that you had a hole/compartment for batteries next to your core.
She wouldn't really act that different, but she'd remind you when you needed to swap batteries.

Cyn-
She found out soon after you met because you were searching around everywhere for the right battery, eventually confessing that you are an older model that runs on batteries.
Nothing would be different about your interactions.

Khan-
He noticed that after class, you would attach an odd cord to a space near your core and enter sleep mode, and he eventually brought it up in conversation; he was pretty understanding after you explained.
He would keep a backup battery or charger for you in case you needed it.

Tessa-
She found your battery compartment while repairing you, which is how she knows.
She would try her best to keep backup batteries and remind you of when you needed to change them.

Alice-
It eventually just came up in conversation because she noticed an odd area near your core that wasn't visible on other drones, and you showed her that it was actually a battery compartment.
She wouldn't act any different.

Nori-
She figured something was off when you took a stab to the core, yet didn't die. She took a closer look and saw the battery compartment, further discovering that the battery was still active and connected by metallic teeth to the core, which thankfully wasn't damaged enough to kill you.
She'd occasionally remind you to be careful, and she'd keep a battery stash for you.

Yeva-
You had come to her for batteries, looking awfully tired, and she became concerned. She, of course, helped you and brought you your batteries, surprised when she saw you swapping them out.
She'd check in on you every once in a while and always have one handy if you ever needed it.
