Mythic West: a Union Academy Tale

Meeting the Callaghan clan

Nicholas and Lloyd were worried, the children were captured by Brutus, Alaric's second born son after Octavian, the firstborn who is currently conquering parts of Prime City, colony of the Cybertronians, Nick was furious at how Brutus kidnapped Connor under his watch, he grabbed his Greatsword and rode off with Lloyd, galloping to Fort Terror.  

Lloyd: Nicholas, what would happen if Alaric is still there? 

with a heavy sigh, he thought about fighting his own son to the death while the kids escape, wanting Lloyd to look after them until they become warriors capable of defending themselves. 

Nicholas: i need you to make sure King Arthur helps them, i might not survive my duel with Alaric, his Witch might convert the gang into his army, and I'm not gonna let this shit slip. 

Lloyd: then it's an honor fighting beside thee, Sir Nicholas. 

[Fort Terror] 

Alaric was impressed at how Brutus captured all of the young heroes; he sees Issei glaring at him with a sneer as he freed himself and powers up, ready to destroy the Black Knight. 

Alaric: this is too easy. 

as he grabs his sword and block Issei's Dragon Shot, cuts another in half and rushes the pervert while he's out in the open.  

BANG! 

Alaric punches him square in the face and pulls his hair while headbutting him until he was bloody and beaten, causing Rias and the ORC to shout his name. 

ORC: ISSEI!

then Alaric looks at him, disappointed that the boy lied to him about being the strongest, looking at the girls, he then spoke in an insulted tone.  

Alaric: how dare you, you said he was strong yet here he is, bloodied by my own fists, what else didn't ye do that's filled with false promises? 

Rias: (angry) YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A BRUTE WHO FIGHTS FOR PLEASURE, WHEN MY BROTHER KNOWS WHAT'S GOING ON, HE WI---

Alaric: (roars out) SILENCE!!!

then Rias closes her mouth in fear as this man told her to shut up, no one talked back at her that way, this scared her as she nodded, hoping he would not cleave her in half. he then ordered his men to send the teens into the dungeons. 

[meanwhile] 

the two old knights snuck into the garrison at night as the soldiers were either having fun or sleeping as Lloyd grabs the dungeon keys and walked inside while Nicholas heads out to find Alaric, his fate's been sealed but he doesn't care, all that matters is Connor's survival. 

[dungeon]

Lloyd then opens Connor's cell and wakes him up, only to see whip marks on his back, courtesy of Gerald, Brutus' ruthless right hand and dungeon warden, as he woke up wincing to see Lloyd. 

Connor: Uncle Lloyd, I'm happy to see you, the gang are sleeping while the tormentors are getting their asses handed to them by Alaric. 

Lloyd: i need you and your friends to save them and ride west with me, there you'll meet King Arthur in Camelot.

he was hesitant at saving the bullies but to his better judgement, he does what Lloyd says. he woke up Anastasia, Toshi and Sven as they were handed a spear, a pair of axes with a Dane axe, 2 katanas and three bows for per person as they enter the fort and search for the others. 

[Connor POV] 

as we went further into the hallway, we see our tormentors seeing us as Alaric was absent. 

Kiba: what are you doing here, you have to get out of here and run. 

me: me, run? come on asshole, you know me well enough that i don't puss out like those Fakers at home.

Blake: you don't get it, he'll kill you. 

???: heed the animal's warning, i do relish death.  

as i look to see the Black Knight himself, ready to decapitate me until Grandpa blocked the sword, looking at him in anger. 

[no one's POV]

Nicholas: YOUR FIGHT'S WITH ME, DAMN YOU! 

as Alaric backs up and glares at his father with malice and rage, yet also fear because he's the only man he lost to, readying his resolve, the Black Knight grabs his sword and faces him, nonetheless. 

Alaric: for years i have feared you Nicholas, for now times on my side now, HAVE AT THEE, OLD MAN! 

Nicholas: try me, boy. 

as they were duking it out with their swords, the powerless quartet ran to the gates while the bullies just stand there watching the fight. noticing this, Connor tells his friends to meet him at the gates as he convinces Rias and the others to come with them back to Savior City, to Union. 

Connor: come on, get your asses moving, the sooner we leave, the better we'll be back at Union Academy, you'll be students once more. 

Nicholas: you heard the boy, hurry up and get going!

they all look at each other than at Alaric and back to Connor as Ruby said something that would change the course of history forever. 

Ruby: Union is nothing but pain and misery, Alaric is our new lord (prepares Crescent Rose).

this made Nicholas and Connor shocked, the bullies who tormented him have become officially soldiers of the Dark Sword Legion as Alaric smiles and sideway kicks Nicholas to the ground, causing Connor to look in horror as his grandfather was kneeling to his enemy.  

Nicholas: *mind* so this is where i die, kneeling before the monster of a son huh? God, give me the strength to guide my grandson to peace and virtue. *Out loud* if you kill me Alaric, I'll become God's most dangerous angel alive. 

then Alaric raises his sword and stabs him in the head, causing Connor to be in tears as Nicholas was the only family who treats him right due to Raphael and Andrea neglecting him for being powerless as Lloyd ran up to him and grabs both Nick's sword and Connor. 

Connor: GRANDPA!!!

Lloyd: come Nephew, now's not the time to cry.

the two met up with the other guys and escape while Sven blew up the drawbridge.
