There is also one more thing I'd like to bring to attention because I like venting to random people online about life:

I've been listening to a lot of true crime podcasts recently and if there was one case I'd always avoided it would've been the Junko Furuta Case.

In case people here aren't aware of it, it's a pretty old case but the scenario is nothing new either.

She was a 17 year old high schooler who got abducted all because she rejected a boy , then got raped a million times over and over tortured deliberately to the point where anyone would break and she dealt with all of it for 44 days.

I don't know why I'm bringing this up to you guys because it may seem irrelevant to you but it is relevant to me because I wanted to point out that rape, SA jokes etc is not funny and you shouldn't be afraid to tell someone to stop.

This case made me cry really badly, of course I will not be going into details (there is a reason it is known as the 44 days of hell) considering your Sanity and wattpad's guidelines.

This case makes me wonder why humanity is the way it is.
I mean, our brain is structured in a certain way for every individual, we all are different but made of the same kind of neurons, through which the same chemicals are processed. Even so, why are some people deserving of the fatal and others not? Who gets to judge that? Who makes the judgement of whether a 17 year old girl gets to live or die? And for what reason? Because she was pretty? Because she was intelligent? Because she 'pissed you off'?

It's disgusting.

What's been bothering me afterwards is the fact that people online are still making fun of this and other rape cases, rape should be taken seriously someone is literally exploiting the other person for what they have without consent.

In Kolkata,India recently, there was another case where a 31 year old post graduate trainee was found dead and the autopsy revealed genital torture. Rape.

I would like to conclude by saying that rape isn't a laughing matter to those who've experienced it and certainly not a laughing matter in general. It is purely disgusting that people romanticise sexual assault and make it feel like an okay thing to do because you're not just making the victims feel like a burden, you're practically encouraging piece of shit predators, in some twisted way, they think its some video game simulation where you have to tear down one person after another and strip them off their humility (yes, men get raped too.) Then you're not any different too.

If you know anyone who's experienced/is experiencing assault or are a victim yourself I hope you can stand by your word that what happened was wrong and don't be ashamed for what another person did because its their selfish actions who did the damage.
