"Den? Saan ka?" Alyssa asked when Den answered her call.

"Yes, hello din naman sa'yo, Alyssa," Dennise chuckles, "I'm home lang, why?"

"Okay, open the door?"

"Huh?"

"I'm outside, can't knock lang, my hands are full," Alyssa answered.

"What?" Dennise asked again pero pumunta siya ng pinto to open it and there's really Alyssa standing in front of it, "what???"

Alyssa chuckles, "hi, can I come in?"

"Of course, sorry, let me get that for you," Dennise said, getting the iced coffee on Alyssa's right hand. On her left hand, may hawak siyang paperbag of the food she bought, thank God to air pods she was able to call Dennise.

"Thanks, Den," Alyssa said and sat on the dining, "sorry, were you doing something ba?"

Dennise shakes her head, "nothing naman. Anong meron, Ly?"

"Wala lang," Alyssa answered with a smile, "thought of coming by lang."

"Bored ka na naman?" Dennise asked, "grabe ka ma-bored?"

Alyssa chuckled, "nagsasawa ka na ba sa'kin?"

"Itsura mo," Dennise laughed when she saw Alyssa pout, "hindi naman, just wondering. Napapadalas e."

"Buti na lang lagi akong right timing," Alyssa said, "kain tayo?"

Dennise smiles and nods, "pag ako nasanay."

"Gotchu," Alyssa said with a smile.

"Dennise???" Alyssa called Dennise, Dennise turned around at halata sa mukha nito ang gulat.

"Ly! OMG," Dennise said, "nandito ka rin???"

Alyssa chuckled, "yes, kasama ko kanina si Josh. Pauwi na ako actually when I saw you."

"Are you stalking me?"

"HELLO?" Alyssa asked, louder than it should be.

"Hey, don't shout," Dennise said while laughing, "nag-jo-joke lang ako."

"Coincidence lang," Alyssa answered.

"Ang defensive," natatawang sabi ni Den, "uuwi ka na?"

"Do you need someone to be with you?" Alyssa asked, "kasi if me time mo, then yes, uwi na ako. I respect me-time, Den."

Dennise giggled, "nah, I think it'd be better if kasama ka."

"Okay ka lang?" Alyssa asked as soon as she arrived at the place that Dennise told her where she is.

Dennise looks up and sees Alyssa, "hey."

Alyssa sits beside her, "anong ginagawa mo?"

"Doodling," Dennise answered, still busy doodling on the paper, "I'm sorry sa istorbo."

"Hindi ka istorbo," Alyssa answered right away.

Dennise smiled but didn't talk. So Alyssa just let her and sat quietly beside her.

"Thanks, Ly," Dennise said after a long silence then sighed, "I was feeling down for no reason lang, and thought of calling you."

Alyssa nods, "I didn't do anything?"

"Your presence is enough."

"Iniiwasan mo ba ako?" Dennise asked Alyssa, it's been a month since she saw her and Alyssa's not been so responsive to her messages, too.

"Busy lang," iwas tingin na sagot ni Alyssa.

"Bullshit," Dennise said, "may nagawa ba ako, Ly? Did I say anything that offended you? Bakit ka umiiwas?"

"I'm not nga, Den, busy lang," Alyssa answered.

"Pangalawa na, if you lie one more time, you will never hear from me again."

Alyssa looks at Dennise with such horror in her eyes, "Den..."

"Iniiwasan mo ba ako? Dennise asked once again.

Alyssa bows her head and nods.

"Bakit?" she heard Dennise asked.

"I'm afraid I'm needing you more than I should," Alyssa whispered.

"Ano?"

"Sabi ko, natatakot ako, Den. I feel like dying pag hindi kita nakikita, o nakakausap."

"Are you kidding me? Iniiwasan mo nga ako!"

Alyssa shakes her head, "I'm thinking na maybe I should step back, para masanay ako."

"Na ano?!" Dennise asked, frustrated.

"Na hindi ka mahalin?" Alyssa said, more of a question, that surprised them both, "fuck," Alyssa said underneath her breath.

"What do you mean, Ly?"

Alyssa gulps, then heavily sighs, "I don't know how or when Den. Nagising na lang ako na all I crave for is your presence. Pero sa tuwing magkasama tayo, para akong natutunaw. God, we don't even need to do anything as long as I'm with you. I thought at first, I'm attached lang. But it all dawned to me when I realized what would I do just to see you happy. I'd cross oceans for you, Dennise. And I don't think that's even platonic anymore."

Dennise chuckled, looking at Alyssa.

"Anong nakakatawa?" Alyssa asked, frowning.

"Sa dinaming beses na you just barge in sa unit ko, ngayon ka talaga nahiya of being in love with me?"

"Why are you teasing me?!"

Dennise laughed and pulled Alyssa, "I'd cross oceans for you, too."

Alyssa opens the door, and smiles at Dennise who's sitting at her couch, "hi love."

"Hi love," Dennise said and kisses Alyssa on the lips.

"I love you," Alyssa said, smiling at Den.

"I love you," Dennise says back.

Alyssa went to their room to get changed, paglabas niya, there's already food on the dining table.

"Kain na tayoooo," Dennise said.

Alyssa sat beside her.

"Parang dati lang, kumakatok na lang ako bigla with food on my hands," Alyssa said.

Dennise chuckles, "mga every other 2 weeks siguro akong free dinner non."

Alyssa laughs with Den, "could've made it weekly but I'm too shy."

"Nahiya ka pa sa lagay na 'yun ah?"

"Babe, nang-aasar ka na naman."

Dennise laughs, "well, look at where we are now," Dennise said.

Alyssa smiles.

"Cheers to the newly weds!" Ella said, raising her glass for her two bestfriends, "congratulations, beshies."

Alyssa and Dennise smiled at Ella and raised their glasses.

Then they looked at each other and made a toast.

"We made it," Alyssa said.

"We surely did," Dennise said and winks at Alyssa.

The idea came to me lang na Alyssa always wants to be around Dennise. Not really sure how to turn it into a one shot but well, here we are... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
