somewhere between after Dennise finally admitted to herself that she's fallen in love with Alyssa and before the championship game AKA confession

note: atacy means and then along came you, it's a full-length AD fic I recently finished here sa wp. someone thought of the acronym sa X kaya salamat po kasi i've been using it HAHAHAHA. and kaya number 2 na 'to kasi nasa X din yung #1 hehehe. ayun lang salamat! (still thinking if I should post these here or sa atacy mismo)

Dennise Lazaro: Ly, hi! I know nag-aaral ka. wala lang.
Alyssa Valdez: Hello rin, Den. Hahahaha. Yes, studying pa pero taking a 10-minute break lang kasi parang hindi ko na nababasa ng maayos yung lecture. Wazzup?
Dennise Lazaro: are you at your house?
Alyssa Valdez: Nawp! Dito me right now sa study hub near sa bahay. Mas nakakapag-focus ako infair!
Dennise Lazaro: baka dyan ka na naman makatulog ha.
Alyssa Valdez: HAHAHAHAHA! Can't say na hindi but I'll try not to. Teka, bakit? Miss mo na ko?
Dennise Lazaro: byeeee. message ka pag nakauwi ka na, okay???
Alyssa Valdez: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Alyssa Valdez: I miss you too, Dennise. Can I ask for a hug when we see each other?
Dennise Lazaro: why do you always ask? hindi naman ako hihindi. hahahaha
Alyssa Valdez: yieee gusto ng hug ko
Dennise Lazaro: leche
Alyssa Valdez: HAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA I'll study na ulit, Den. Talk to you later! Thanks for checking on me.
Dennise Lazaro: ok

Dennise laughed right after Alyssa haha'd her response.

"Nasa ibang lugar ata yung isa dito," Ella said, Samantha laughed at that, while Dennise rolled her eyes.

"May nakita lang akong funny meme," Dennise defended herself.

"Meme na pala ngayon si Alyssa Valdez sa messenger," sambit ni Ella na ikinatawa ulit ni Samantha.

"Bb, you're not really subtle about it," Samanth said, "we know it's Ly, iba tunog pag sa kanya galing yung message."

"How did you...?" Dennise asked.

"Teh, di mo napansin nung nakaraan, chinat ka namin ni Sammy tapos yung default ringtone lang narinig namin, nong si Alyssa, iba."

"What the hell," Dennise whispered and she set her phone to silent.

"Wag na, alam na namin, too late," Ella teased. She and Samantha continued to laugh while seeing Dennise blushing, "lover girl na lover girl ka dyan sis."

"Shut up nga," Dennise said and laughed, "minsan lang..."

"Talagang minsan lang, minsan ka lang maging corny," Samantha teased, sinimangutan siya ni Dennise na ikinatawa niya, "joke lang bb! We find it funny but at the same time, we're happy for you!"

Ella nodded, "so aamin ka ba?"

"Oo nga bb," Samantha said, "pero kung ako ikaw, dapat si Alyssa ang maunang umamin."

Dennise giggled, "we don't even know if she likes me that way?" Dennise said.

"TEH?" Samantha shouted, "sure naman akong di ka manhid."

"Di rin ako assumera," Dennise added.

"In denial, oo," Ella said, laughing, "it's so obvious kung ano nafi-feel niyo sa isa't-isa. Maybe Alyssa's waiting for the right time lang din."

Dennise smiled, she shook her head, "I'll keep it muna. I want to feel this as much as possible. Although minsan, it's overwhelming to the point na I want to say it out loud."

"Na???" Ella and Samantha asked.

Dennise looked at her friends, "kayo pa unang makakarinig? Dapat si Alyssa."
