You spotted your friends up ahead and shouted, "Todoroki-kun! Fujiwara-chan! Wait up!" You sprinted towards them, your breath coming out in quick puffs as you finally caught up, hands on your knees while trying to catch your breath.

Haruko turned around, her face lighting up with a big smile. "Y/N! I've missed—wait, what's with the honorifics... I thought we were closer than that, Y/N!" She pouted dramatically, her lips forming an exaggerated frown. Meanwhile, Todoroki kept his usual calm expression, but you could tell it bothered him, too, by the slight furrow in his brows.

"Sorry, guys," you said sheepishly, standing up straight. "I'm just trying out honorifics like Sensei Tanaka was teaching us in class yesterday."

Todoroki blinked, tilting his head slightly. "I think you mean Friday, Y/N," he corrected, his voice as level as ever.

Haruko rolled her eyes, dismissing his comment with a wave of her hand. "Well, you don't need to use honorifics with me, Y/N!" She looped her arm around yours, pulling you closer. "But you should probably use them with Todoroki-kun," she added, smirking as she emphasized his name mockingly. "I'm sure he likes formality and rules and stuff like that."

You glanced over at Todoroki, who seemed unphased, though you noticed the slightest downward twitch at the corner of his mouth. You laughed at Harukos familiar personality. "It's okay shoto! I won't use them if you don't want me too!"

Shoto's face visibly brightened, and he met your gaze with a straight face, nodding firmly in response. You smiled back at him, feeling a warmth settle between you two. Haruko, however, couldn't take the sudden shift in mood and gagged playfully, grabbing your hands and pulling you along. "Hurry up, Y/N! My mom's waiting for us!"

The three of you approached the traffic stop, and Haruko turned dramatically, hands on her hips, as if leading a mission. "Okay, you guys! Remember what Sensei taught us!" She cleared her throat, preparing herself as she recited, "Look both ways before you cross the street! Left and right, and then what do you see?"

You joined in, excitement bubbling in your voice, while Shoto kept his tone steady and calm. "If there's no cars coming, you're as safe as can be!" you both chanted.

Haruko grinned, about to continue her traffic safety lesson when someone interrupted, calling out casually, "The light's green."

Haruko froze, her fists clenched as she turned around glaring at the person who had dared to break her flow. Sensei tanaka had chosen her to be the designated traffic leader and now someone had just interrupted her important duty, putting them all in danger!

The three turned their heads looking up at the figure staring down at them.

By the traffic lights stood a tall boy, his presence dazzling. His messy blond hair caught the sunlight, strands falling carelessly over his forehead, while large scarlet wings stretched out behind him, occasionally twitching as if they had a mind of their own. His posture was laid-back, his hands stuffed into his pockets as his sharp golden eyes focused on the three of them, a small smirk tugging at his lips as he held in his laugh.
