Tea Amidst Terrible Trouble

Rody can be heard swinging and panting as she runs through the forest area of the Origami Acre. Echoes of people's voices go through his head.

Hatch: THIS IS WAR! WE'RE FIGHTING TO LIVE AND CONQUER!! DEATH IS APART OF THAT!! WE FIGHT TO SEE WHOSE IDEALS WERE RIGHT AND WRONG!! IF YOU CAN'T ACCEPT THAT, THEN HOW THE HELL ARE YOU GOING TO BRING BALANCE?!?!

Miguel: struggling to have everything you want while the world tries to make you choose. Gods don't have to choose. We take.

Cinder: You stand no chance against him. Not your friends, not your brother, not that stupid Order, and certainly not you.

Darkness:  I'll be honest, I never really liked you. The whole "hero" ideals, the naive optimism, everything! The way you crumple when the innocent die?! Boo Hoo! Everyone dies!

Rody: (in tears) He's right...

Darkness: You're not a hero or a Champion, you're a mistake that should NEVER have gotten involved.

Rody: It's always been about me... even before Beacon, I was the special one... I knew about how jealous some people were of my luck and how special I am, but I still worked hard to get to where I am.

Jaune: PEOPLE DIED... BECAUSE OF YOU!!

Rody swings until he hits one of the trees and tumbles across the ground as he stops and groans. He wipes tears and blood from his face. He sits down at the base of the trunk with his head to his knees and his arms folded. Little pops out from his hair. They run out onto his arm.

Little: Rody? Rody?

Ruby finally raises her head.

Little: (hopping onto Rody's knee) What are you doing? Why did you shout at everyone like that?

Rody doesn't say anything, simply sighing. He looks at his surroundings.

Rody: Where... am I?

Little: It's okay! I can guide us back. You shouldn't run off though. You all need to stick together if you wanna go home.

Rody: (sighs) Why are you still here?

Rody folds his arms again, and his face has a scowling expression. Little grows concerned.

Little: Uh... what? I promised.

Rody: I promised to serve Atlas as a Huntsmen... That I'd keep people safe... To be the Champion of Remnant... That I'd be there for my friends...

Little: But, we can go back and--

Ruby: No!

Rody stands up and Little hops off his knee to the ground.

Rody: You don't know what I've done. What I couldn't do! I can't do this! (punches the tree trunk and knocks the tree down) I could never do this... If you stay with me, you're going to end up dead too... That's all I seem to be good for... Just. Go. Home...

Little: But you're--

Rody: I said GO!

Little yelps and quickly crawls away from Rody. Little watches Rody marches away, their ears flop down in sadness.

Neopolitan's Mansion

Rody walks through the forest. It begins to darken around him as he continues to walk. A glowing blue butterfly flutters past Rody. As Rody continues walking, a spotlight appears above him. Each spotlight shows Rody walking slowly and much slower than the first two. He crosses the bridge between the Origami Acre and the Abandoned Acre. He arrives at a pink-colored extravagant manor. Everything goes dark.
