 We see a young Rody Azuris staring at a set of graves in front of himself. We then see the translucent face of current Rody with tears streaming down his face and gritting his teeth.

We also see Donald Azuris standing above someone as the sunsets, before seeing his translucent face also crying with his mouth set in a firm line.

Rody's hair, and Donald's arm flare up from the Aura, before cutting to a splitscreen with their faces. The Earth around them shatters from their power.

We see the title card for volume 8 before cutting to a snowy night sky.

Rody can be seen walking through a fleshy inside of the Grimm before people start flashing through his mind, a worried Blake Belladonna, a smug Miguel Diaz, and the determined face of the Champion, before steeling himself and turning to the left.

Donald can be seen walking through the broken streets of Mantle as people start flashing through his mind such as the Armorer, Happy who has a sadistic smile on his face, that shatters into a tearful Yang Xiao Long reaching out for him. Donald looks down as he turns to face a Grimm version of himself standing on a ledge.

We then see Penny Polendia fly towards Cinder fall, dodging Floating Array's swings before leaping to the air. Penny looks up in shock to see a flaming Cinder fly at her with a maniacal grin.

A frustrated Lie Ren and a sad Nora Valkyrie are seen back-to-back before going separate ways. 

Weiss Schnee, May Marigold, and Fresh Baked Cookies can be seen standing up and looking towards Atlas, with Emerald Sustrai seeming conflicted. We cut to Ruby Rose and Blake standing in front of a scared Jasmine Brax and Jaune Arc is beside them. Salem looks at this from her throne before cutting to the face of the Hound roaring at the screen.

Rody then unleashes Black Whip and launches himself forward at someone.

Salem is revealed to be his target as she unleashes magic attacks and black Grimm hands, but Rody expertly dodges them all and uses a magic punch to attack her, but she protects herself from it.

Rody is then seen standing behind Hazel Rainhart and Oscar Pine with a surprised expression, as Salem looks on with Miguel looking at them all, the foot of Donald can be seen as he joins his brother, and they get into fighting stances.

An azure, blue Rody can be seen running hurriedly in one direction.

As he runs he transitions into a light blue Donald who runs in the opposite direction, but as they run, images of Qrow Branwe and Robyn Hill can be seen as the fight Atlas Personnel, Arthur Watts sitting behind a desk, Team JNR can be seen fighting with Jaune leading them, Maria Calavera and Pietro Polendina looking at Amity, Mercury Black and Tyrian Callows walking together, and the Ace-Ops standing together with Winter Schnee joining them and James Ironwood towering over them.

The Relic of Creation can be seen before the Relic of Knowledge cuts in, and we see brief glimpses of the Happy Huntresses, the brother gods, the Champion's divine side, and then we see the Hound and another humanoid Grimm literally but heads with each other as they roar at one another.

A bunch of portals and walkways can be seen as Rody falls through them holding his amulet and he lands in a white void.

As he stands back up all of his friends are standing at the front ready for battle, but Rody looks down worried before gaining a determined expression.
