Extra Chapter: Battles of Volumes 7-9

Edit: I am officially done with the first 9 volumes of RWBY, but I might be inclined to write a chapter for Volume 10 told from Donald's perspective, revealing his origins and what really happened on the night of 1,000 Deaths. But I'll be working on an original story first. Enjoy!

Volume 7 Fights

Mantle Vs Sabyrs: Sabyrs invade Mantle but are intercepted by Team RWBY, Team RD, Team JNR, Oscar Pine, Fresh Baked Cookies, and Qrow Branwen. After defeating most of the Grimm, Penny Polendina reappears and kills the rest and reunites with the party. After she leaves the party is arrested by the Ace-Ops. There were no casualties.

Atlas Huntsmen Vs. Centinels: Team RWBY, Team RD, Team JNR, Qrow Branwen, and the Ace-Ops all team up and battle the Centinels with their new equipment and powers, in order to find a Geist in order to clear the launch site for Amity Tower, they clear the Grimm, but the Geist flees deeper into the mine.

The Ace-Ops vs Geist: Through flawless teamwork and coordination, the Ace-Ops manage to cripple and kill the Geist with Harriet Bree delivering the final blow. Afterwards they all manage to collect the raining Dust and Ruby Rose catches the last one, surprising Harriet's speed. The launch site is cleared, and mission was a success.

Ruby Rose & Rody Azuris Vs. Manticore, Beowolves, & Sabyrs: Ruby and Rody drop down on the Grimm and effortlessly dispatch all the Grimm, this allows the Manta's to pass and head for the Communications Tower.

Donald Azuris, Yang Xiao Long, & Marrow Amin Vs. Beowolves: Donald, Yang, and Marrow successfully kill all the Beowolves in the mine and demonstrate their teamwork to Marrow, who retracts an earlier statement about not working well together.

Rody Azuris & Blake Belladonna Vs. Sabyr: Rody and Blake get the jump on a big Sabyr and they kill it off-screen after a small fight.

Jaune Arc Vs. Vine Zeki: During some training with the Ace-Ops, Jaune and Vine battle atop some block towers and Jaune holds his own until Vine extends his fist and punches out one of the towers, causing it to fall and Jaune with it until Vine catches him before he can hit the ground. He then offers Jaune some advice as they begin the next bout.

Lie Ren Vs. Elm Ederne: Ren and Elm spar until Ren launches himself at her only for her to root herself to the ground and use her left arm to knock him down. Despite the defeat, Ren gets up and demands a rematch.

Donald Azuris Vs. Marrow Amin: Donald and Marrow have a sparring match as Marrow uses his Semblance to stop projectiles Donald launched, only for him to rush Marrow who was waiting for him. Marrow tries to go in for a second strike, only for Donald to use Blake's Semblance in defense, startling the both of them.

Team JNR & Oscar Pine Vs. Team FNKI: The teams battle it out as James Ironwood watches over them, and after some time, each member of team JNR and Oscar take out Flynt, Kobalt and Ivori until it's just Neon left. Nora comes in and hits Neon with her hammer and secures a victory for Team JNR and Oscar and Neon has a black eye for a short while.

Arma Gigas Vs. Winter's Beowolf: Weiss uses her summon against her sister Winter's summon and the Arma Gigas and they battle it out until the Beowolf decapitates the Arma Gigas but realizes that the sword pierced it and the summons both dissipate, resulting in a tie.

Weiss Schnee Vs. Winter Schnee: During a sparring match Weiss and Winter battle each other and Winter uses a Beowolf summon to attack Weiss, who blows back the summon with wind Dust at Winter. Winter prepares another summoning glyph, only for a miniature version of Arma Gigas to slash her ankle, causing Winter to lose concentration. The Beowolf dissipates as Weiss giggles at her sister, declaring her the victor.
