A laughter grew inside of her mind sending Sondra's head spinning.

Ashton grabbed Sondra's hand steadying her after breaking free from the crowd himself. "Sondra?"

But his voice sounded garbled like her head was under water.

"Sondra," Ashton pulled her close, "are you okay?"

Sondra felt as her emotions slowly melted, but not entirely. She still had a sinking feeling in her gut that things would get worse before they got better.

Ashton smiled and held onto his new wife tightly. They cut into a beautiful pumpkin cake and shared it with each other before sharing a kiss. They hugged and chatted with guests.

They did everything that should have distracted Sondra from Dorthy but her mind kept going back to that woman's broken smile.

Ashton pulled Sondra to the dance floor for their first dance, "everything alright?" He asked softly.

"I want it to be truly I do." Sondra said, "it's been the most beautiful day of my life and I'm so grateful for that I just...I miss my siblings." She admitted. She was hoping today would bring her closer to Rosalina and Leonardo, but it felt like it drove more of a wedge.

"Victoria came to give me her sympathies, she told me she knew how hard it was to have people not show up for you. I think she's still hurt from Garth not coming." Ashton told her.

Sondra frowned, "we should reach out to her. I hope she's doing okay."

Ashton nodded and opened his mouth to speak but all Sondra could hear was laughing. Horrid belly-aching mind numbing cruel laughter.

Sondra let him go, she couldn't shake off Dorthy, not even today of all days. Her mind raced with anger, she looked around desperate to get away. She spotted the corn maze and began to run.

Ashton followed her, he didn't understand what spooked her. He met eye contact with Julianna and Timothy who looked concerned.

Sondra ran as fast as she could but each turn made her ears pound with the sound of her own heart and that wicked laughter. She could feel her lungs burn and her feet grow numb. Eventually the sound was so loud that she crumpled feeling she might just be crushed from the noise.

"You can't escape what you are." Dorthy, she was there appearing from a glittery swamp green fog. "You ruin everything."

Sondra gritted her teeth feeling rage swell in her heart. She hated Dorthy, Dorthy destroyed her siblings. She destroyed the wonderful way they used to look at life. She's the reason this all became a competition. It was all her fault. She tasted blood in her mouth and it fueled her with the bloodlust to take Dorthy down.

Sonny allowed the black wand to form in her hand from the rage and resentment. Her white shirt over her heart began to turn black like an ink spill that slowly leaked to the rest of her outfit painting it in a black representation of her agony.

"YOU DESTROYED EVERYTHING!" She screamed and blasted Dorthy back with a burning orange magic.

Dorthy was struck back about twenty feet, the corn lay flat from how aggressively she was blasted.

The witch genuinely looked startled, her already frail being looked like it could crumple into dust at one more spell.

"You will never come near me OR my family again!" Sondra waved her hands to vanquish the woman once and for all.

"SONNY STOP!" She heard her mom, her eyes flickered from their enraged bloody tangerine to her honey brown.

Her heart about stopped when she saw Ashton, his winter blue eyes struck her soul and made her rage begin to dissipate.

"I have to do this." She told him and turned away holding the wand to Dorthy, her hand was trembling and she felt a warmth burn her cheeks.

"You are not a killer," Ashton told her, "this was all miserable. I understand but you got the sword for a reason! You are the hero, not the villain."

"Guards!" King Timothy called wanting to keep Dorthy from running away.

"If killing her will stop her from destroying countless families then it will have been worth it!" She growled. The fiery magic sparked from the black wand.

"Do it!" Dorthy hissed, her awful smirk and devilish laugh fueled Sondra all the more.

"You are good!" Julianna told her daughter.

"You are generous!" King Timothy added.

"You are love and forgiveness." Ashton stepped forward, "You are my everything, you are my hero." Ashton took Sondra's hand.

The guards came and grabbed Dorthy's arms, she struggled but she couldn't fight them off.

Sondra looked at Ashton and dropped the black wand, her outfit bleeding back to white. She realized that burning sensation she felt on her cheeks were tears streaming down.

Ashton pulled Sondra into the tightest hug, "I love you, Sonny, I promise you, we'll make it better."

Sonny nodded and pulled back, her hand hesitated over the sword before she pulled it out. She glared at the black wand, she raised her arm high and swung.

"NOOOO!" Dorthy let out a horrid blood curdling wail as the black wand shattered under the swords pure magic. She was drug away against her will by the guards.

"Now it's over." Sondra smiled feeling relieved. She fell to her knees and Ashton joined by her side.

"You did good Sonny." The queen said as her and her husband joined them.

Sondra smiled and was glad to see the witch go, her heart could beat peacefully now.
