"Y/N, you should take a break too," Yeji said as she and the girls sat down on the floor in the practice room.

"I'm fine, I'm fine. Don't worry. You can all take a break but I want to keep going." You replied and wiped the sweat away from your forehead.

Looking at your reflection in the mirror, you continued to practice for the approaching comeback.

You know every move like the back of your hand at this point, you're just trying to get your body to follow every step.

Despite how exhausted you feel and how you can feel your body begging for rest, you keep pushing forward to be the best you can be.

This comeback is the most anticipated and is so important that you can't risk making any mistakes so you're spending every waking second practicing.

The girls can see how hard you're pushing yourself and it worries them.

Truthfully, they don't see why you're pushing yourself like this.

They feel the pressure of the upcoming comeback too but there's only so much they can do and they still have to care for their bodies to ensure that they have the strength and energy for all that's to come.

They know you're exhausted but they can't seem to get you to take a breath or a break.

As the music played, you danced along to it.

Sweat was practically pouring down your skin and your body was aching and the girls could see how badly you needed a break too.

Ryujin stood up and went over to you, her hand gently falling against your shoulder.

"Y/N, come on,"

"What?"

The way you replied told Ryujin that you were frustrated and annoyed but she didn't take it personally, not with your lack of sleep and total exhaustion.

"You need to take a break."

"I'm fine!"

Lia shook her head as she and Yeji got up to come over to you.

Ryujin still had her hand on your shoulder as you turned to face her and you watched her lips part as she went to speak only for your knees to buckle a little.

You gripped her shoulder to try and steady yourself as the room spun and you wobbled a little.

"Hey," She spoke softly, her eyebrows furrowed in concern. "What's the matter? Are you okay?"

"I'm okay."

"No, you're not," Lia argued. "Y/N, we can see that you're exhausted and you're hurting. You need to take a break, at least for a few minutes."

It was hard to argue with her when you know she and the girls just care about you.

But also, you know she's right.

Your body is struggling to keep up with how much you're doing and how hard you're practicing.

You've spent more hours in the practice room than the girls have as you insist on staying longer and you're sure you're only getting three hours of sleep a night at this point.

You need a break, you truly do.

But at this point, you're struggling to even go and sit down because the room is spinning and you can hardly keep your eyes open or stay standing up without gripping Ryujin's shoulder for dear life.

"Come on, we'll take you over there and get you some water," Ryujin said as Yeji came to your side, both of them noticing that you weren't acting right.

"I can't." You spoke breathlessly. "I feel weird. I feel... dizzy."

The girls all looked at each other worriedly, not liking the way you were breathing or acting at that moment.

But before any of them could do or say anything, you collapsed right against Ryujin as your knees gave out and your vision turned black.

"Oh, my god," She panicked as she and Yeji laid you on the floor. "Y/N? Y/N!"

"I'll call for an ambulance!" Lia said as she hurriedly grabbed her phone.

"Come on, open your eyes. Open your eyes for me." Ryujin whispered as she shook your shoulder. "Wake up. Please wake up."

It took a moment for you to open your eyes again.

The girls were all panicking as Ryujin begged you to wake up and the second she saw you do so, a breath of relief left her lips.

"Thank gosh," She said as she put her forehead on your shoulder. "An ambulance is coming, okay? Don't move too much."

"An ambulance? No, I'm alright. Tell them not to come."

"You're not serious right now..." Yuna spoke in shock.

"You just collapsed, Y/N. Right against Ryujin!" Chaeryeong said. "What if she hadn't caught you? What if something more serious had happened because of how hard you're practicing and pushing yourself?!"

You exhaled shakily as Yeji came over to you with a cup of water.

"Take a few sips."

You lifted your head as she put the cup to your lips and you took a few sips of the cold water.

"Why are you doing this to yourself?" Ryujin asked anxiously.

"This is the first comeback with Lia returning. Also... sometimes people say things about me on social media. They say a lot about my dancing. I just wanted this to be the best comeback we've ever had."

"It will be. Because the six of us are back together, the way it's always meant to be. You don't have to do this to yourself." Yuna said.

"Also, we all know what those comments are like. We get them too, each of us for different things or reasons. But it's unacceptable to push yourself like this. Y/N, you're where you are now because you're good at what you do. All of us are. You don't have to do this to try and change a few people's opinions." Chaeryeong said.

"Especially because, no matter what you do, those opinions will never change," Lia said as she tried to reason with you. "Most people are set on how they feel about idols or celebrities and most of the time, that never changes, no matter what you do or say."

"Don't do this to try and change how they feel because they don't matter. Take it easier because, otherwise, the ones that do matter won't be able to see us as six again because you're going to be too weak or exhausted to do everything we have planned." Ryujin said and you knew she was right.

"I'm so sorry." You said as tears stung your eyes. "I know I've been too hard on myself."

"You have," Lia said as she squeezed your knee.

"I won't anymore, not like this."

"Good. We won't let you. You're going to get some rest and get some water and take it easy for a day or two and then we'll be back on track. But don't do this to yourself anymore, okay? Don't even try. You scared us so much." Yeji spoke as she rubbed your arm.

You knew she was right, as were your other members.

And as Ryujin gave you a little hug, you counted your lucky stars for the life you have.

You won't push yourself like this ever again; there's no need to when everything is always going to be okay in the end with your girls by your side.
