The girls had noticed it before the six of you went on stage tonight - you were feeling extremely anxious.

This wasn't anything new though because your anxiety was worse than ever with all the hate comments you and the girls have been receiving lately.

Being an idol is hard enough already but it seems that since the Coachella performance, it's been harder than ever.

They all checked on you before you headed on stage and made sure to let you know that if your anxiety was too overwhelming to say something so they could all comfort you, which you've been doing for each other more than ever.

But you tried to brush it off and said you were fine.

You thought you would be fine.

You live and breathe for performing; it's your passion, your dream, and the reason you exist.

But when you went on stage, your anxiety became even more intense.

Looking out at the fans, you used to be in awe and feel tears fill your eyes from the gratitude and love you felt for them.

But these days, you feel like any of them might be judging you and are just waiting for you to mess up so they can post it online and hate you even more.

As you all performed smart, your mind wandered and you could feel your heart pounding as you gazed out at the thousands upon thousands of eyes on you and the girls.

Your part came up and you managed to get a few words out before stumbling over them.

Sakura and Yunjin looked over at you and you squeezed your eyes shut as your anxiety became the most intense it's ever been.

You began to hyperventilate and Sakura was the first to rush over to you upon noticing.

"Y/N," She softly spoke as she gently placed her hand on your arm. "It's okay, you're okay,"

"Is she okay?" Kazuha asked worriedly.

You weren't okay; you felt so far from being okay and you were so tired of lying about it.

It's been so stressful and exhausting lately and you just couldn't take anymore.

"Look at me," Sakura said as she gently cupped your cheek. "Don't look at anyone else. Just look at me."

"Take her backstage for a moment. We've got it covered here." Chaewon said before squeezing your shoulder reassuringly.

Sakura led you backstage and did her best to soothe you as tears filled your eyes and you continued to hyperventilate.

"Breathe, baby, breathe," Sakura whispered as she kept her eyes locked with yours.

"It's just... a lot." You explained through your heavy and uneven breaths. "So many people."

"I know, I know." She said. "Y/N, it's okay. I understand. We've all been struggling lately. It's okay that you're struggling too."

You closed your eyes as she gently stroked your cheek.

"You're not alone though. None of us are. We have each other." She spoke with a soft smile. "And even though the hate is still strong and people keep trying to bring us down, we still have our fans too."

"It just feels like so many people are ready to turn on us and judge us." You said with a shaky breath. "Sometimes, when I look out into the crowd, I just can't tell the difference. I just feel like everyone is going to turn on us."

"Not everyone. I know it's hard to see but not everyone is going to do that. We still have so many fans who adore us and will always support us."

You smiled again, a little brighter this time.

"And you have me."

You felt her fingers intertwine with yours and your heart began to race again, though not with anxiety this time.

"And I'm not going anywhere. Believe me."

You put your arms around her to hug her tight.

"Thank you."

Sakura held you a little tighter and closer and smiled to herself.

"Anytime. Do you feel better?"

"Yeah."

"Good. Let's go back out there. Everything is going to be okay."

And you believed her.

Because with her and the girls by your side, everything will always be okay, no matter how hard or dark things may be at times.
