Through a dream, a vision so bright
He saw the elements aligning just right
Every atom, a purpose, a place defined
Patterns showing, connections aligned
Emerging up and down and left to right
Research led to this goal.
Inspired by nature, finding their roles
Organizing chaos
Dimitri Mendeleev chose
In great excitement, he rises
Creating the foundation of science
The periodic table
A discovery that predicts
Bringing order, creating labels
Linking properties of matter
Elements together, no longer scattered
