If I had a choice I would just cease to exist
I would fade away into nothingness
As long as those I care about don't remember who I am
If I had a choice I would say goodbye to this world
I feel as though I don't have a purpose
What is my significance in a world with 7 billion other people
Surely I can't matter enough that it would matter if I cease to exist.
I don't want to die, I don't want to kill myself
I solely just want lose all responsibility
To lose all sense of self
to fade slowly into the abyss
But I can't
Because people will care
People will wonder
People will know
So, I continue in existence, for others
Hoping that maybe I can find a reason for myself;
To find a reason why I matter in this world.
