It's all everyone could ask for
It's all that you gave me
From your smiles
Your hugs
Your laughs
Your advice
I knew you loved and cared for me
But the cruelty of life took you away
Now I'm here
Broken
Hurt
Crying
Because all that's left are the memories
The memories of feeling loved
Of feeling cared about
But that's all you are now
Just a memory
And memories fade
Soon I forget how your laugh sounded
Soon the only smile I know it the one in pictures
Soon that's all you'll be
Is just a faded memory
And I'm not ready for that day
Because I wish you were still here with me
