Three months have passed since that day.

Fuyaiyah did not carelessly waste the second chance King Lenon had given her; she stayed within the palace and avoided acting recklessly.

She got closer with Prince Kyuni's maid, and learned to make all kinds of things from her, -

-"It's weird that I've been with you for a while but I don't know your name!" she said one afternoon, while taking a baking lesson from the maid.

"It's rare to find a friend whose name you don't have to know. But I guess we should know the basics eventually." The maid laughed back. "Just call me "Jade," My Princess." -

-which became useful because the Prince was surprised, yet pleased for the nights he came home and saw his two familiar women presenting him one of his favorite dishes.

Fuyaiyah felt good knowing that Prince Kyuni had good things to report about her to his father.

She had also gone to visit Princess Zyla and spent the day with her. The Princess was right - the plant that Fuyaiyah revived grew very well. It was once brown and grayish, but was now a vibrant green plant.-

-"We'll have flowers soon, huh?" She asked, poking a vine that looked like it was about to bud.

"Yeah! I can't wait! You must come see them when they bloom."

"Definitely!"-

-Also, Prince Kyuni forgave the incident when she got harmed by a whip, but he couldn't ignore that the civilians didn't approve of Fuyaiyah, so, whenever he could, he took her out in public. By going shopping, eating sampled foods, enjoying the scenery, and chatting - all in the middle of town, the civilians slowly began to accept Fuyaiyah.

King Lenon never told her in person that she had passed the test. Instead, she and Prince Kyuni got their morning disturbed by hearing the Royal decree made by the King that he approved of Fuyaiyah to be Prince Kyuni's wife.

That day, the Prince was laid off from duties, so they both were occupied in celebration, but when the chance came, Fuyaiyah took a stroll around the Palace.

At last, the week of the wedding has come. Everyday of that week was filled with the preparations, small celebrations and other events. Fuyaiyah didn't have time to think about anything else.

So, when Thylin met up in private with her and asked -

"-Your sister and everyone is awaiting an update; should I let them know about the wedding?"-

-Fuyaiyah was taken aback for more reasons than one.-

-"No, no. The next time they receive a letter, I'd like for it to be a letter declaring that our village is freed, and, as long as I remain Princess, no dispute between the two lands exists."-

-But she had realized that she was having doubts and had assured Thylin while assuring herself. The busy days made it hard to reflect.

That's why Prince Tuquor surprised her very much just two days before the ceremony.

It was a cloudy and early afternoon when Fuyaiyah just got finished seeing the garment she'd be wearing at the ceremony. She was supposed to meet up with Prince Kyuni and head to another event but she stopped walking.

Knowing that her first wedding and wedding dress wouldn't be the way she secretly imagined; it was a weird feeling to her. But yet again, she tried to focus on the goal overall instead of her personal feminine feelings. But she was having such a hard time that she didn't sense Prince Tuquor approaching her.

"Are you okay these days?" He asked.

Fuyaiyah looked up.

"Why do you ask?"

"I know I said I'd be quiet about the affairs of you and Kyuni, but you haven't been looking so good for awhile now. Are you sure you want to go forth with the wedding?"

She turned.

"The wedding is two days away. It's far too late to be regretful."

"You didn't say an affirmative yes!" He was getting upset again. "That means you're not too sure after all."

"Keep your voice down!"

Fuyaiyah looked ready to leave. If she left, he wouldn't get another chance to reason with her.

Prince Tuquor hesitated, but ended up saying it.

"You've always just wanted your village freed, right? Marriage agreements aren't the only method to do that!"

"I want to pursue methods without violence!" She said on impulse.

"You said it yourself - "methods!" A marriage isn't the only way to free your village!"
