When the villagers had been gathered and had been led only to the entrance to the Kingdom and then stopped, everybody was confused.
"It should be any moment now!" Said the impatient guard. "We should be seeing fireworks, and when we do, we'll open these gates and all of you will be on your own way!"
"How long does it take for two people to get married?" Shouted a villager, just as impatient.
"It can't be helped!" Yelled the guard. "Everyone knows how sly the bride is! It's a secret order from the King to wait until the signal! Secret orders! From the King! The King okay? So stop harassing me about it!"
Suddenly, a single horses' hooves sounded in the snow. The guard was relieved thinking it was backup horsemen for the villagers who were growing upset. But turned mortified instead seeing Fuyaiyah.
"For orders that are supposedly secretive, you've sure let everyone know easily."
Her villagers started making a commotion. Siomi stared at her in the evening sunset with sparkly eyes. The other guards quieted the villagers while the main guard went up to her.
"I will excuse your comment about me being sly. Just - what's this about secret orders? It was supposed to be a solid promise that everyone's released the same moment I marry the Prince."
"Yes my dear," he said sarcastically. "And that promise shall be fulfilled right away. Once the fireworks go off."
Fuyaiyah with Bon-bon, trotted past the impatient guard and went to the two standing in front of the gate.
"Please open the door so that my village can return."
"Are you officially the Princess? Because if not, we don't have any obligations to you."
"I have long since fulfilled my promise to Prince Kyuni. We have already been connected."
She spoke with assurance, so the guards started to falter.
"But we still haven't seen the fireworks!" Said the guard who she trotted past.
"Enough about the fireworks!" Fuyaiyah pulled out a royal decree unexpectedly prepared in advance. "You're not seeing fireworks tonight, but you are now seeing the Royal decree signed officially to let my village go."
"Dear girl. You're young and arrogant so you may have forgotten, but it's about to affect us a lot letting your village go. King Lenon did not want to let them go so easily without the proper confirmation!"
Fuyaiyah gave him a side look.
"I can forgive you for the ridicule about me, but I wonder how King Lenon would feel hearing you say that his official signing doesn't count as proper confirmation. Maybe I should turn around and ask him." She started redirecting Bon-bon.
The guards were now scared.
"You're lying."
"I haven't lied about a thing this evening. Me and the Prince really have been joined together, and there's no need to lie about the King's temperament. I will say it one last time - open the gates and release my family!"
The Kingdom guards were giving in. But the impatient one hadn't yet.
"I just told you all about this sly girl but yet you're letting her word play get to you! Don't open the gates!
"And you!" Fuyaiyah finally faced the other guard. "So that this can be over and you can get some rest - you can go check in with the Palace if you still do not believe my words, but just remember that the Palace is offensive when it comes to someone's doubt in them."
"Fine! I will! I will - right now! So you guards - don't open the gates yet!"
The impatient guard turned his horse around and set for the palace. But a group of familiar, lively horsemen casually blocked his path.
"Aye! Where ya going mate? To report that the task is finished?" Said one.
Another one looked up.
"It's almost night! Why's everyone standing around?"
Prince Kyuni's faithful horsemen had joined the scene. And the once impatient guard turned soft-spoken and humble.
"Good sirs. We wanted to let them go, but - you see - the King himself gave us orders as to when to let them go, but then the maiden came with new orders under another signature. I just wanted to confirm with the King is all."
Prince Kyuni's guards looked at Fuyaiyah with the Royal decree.
"You said King Lenon gave your orders? Before she came?"
He showed courtesy.
"Yes sir.
"But then she came with another official statement for another order?"
