"It's been three months! Why hasn't she returned, Kyuni?"
While his father was roaring at him, Prince Kyuni was sitting at his desk reading papers, not really minding him.
"She left a note saying that she'll return when she makes sure her village will be safe. She'll be back." He sighed. His father was so loud that he had to reread a page of the report.
"You have so much confidence in her as if she's your actual wife! But she got what she wanted out of the deal - she always wanted her village set free, and when they do, she suddenly leaves!"
"It wasn't sudden father."
"That girl never liked this place. She has no reason to return! Your faith in her is just unbelievable!"
Prince Kyuni lifted his head a bit and looked out the window in front of him. He thought of all of the hardships Fuyaiyah went through, and how his father, who wanted them captured, had caused it. He had the urge to yell but resisted.
Instead, he turned around and gave his father a look.
"She'll come back. Definitely."
The father stared down his son then his tone changed.
"What's that look for? You better fix it immediately! If there's something you want to say - say it clearly! It's that same demeanor of yours that's had me confine you in your room ever since she left!"
Prince Kyuni sighed heavily and tried in vain to finish reading the report.
"For your sake - you'd better hope your faith is right and that girl comes back to complete the wedding! I won't let you out until then!"
He finally left. Prince Kyuni sighed again and gave his maid something to do so he could have a moment alone.
In that same moment, the Archer women's hideout was quickly turning into their new Village, and a stronghold. A note had suddenly appeared on the big tree in the heart of their new Village for the previous generation, to finally tell the new generation about their long-kept secrets. Only one person had the authority to let them know, but that person had suddenly disappeared. But everyone agreed that while the person wasn't anywhere to be found, the note was certainly in his handwriting. So the previous generation told their young ones - including Fuyaiyah, who was - still - kept in the dark about a lot of things.
Letting the other half of the village know made bonds between the entire village grew more solid and strong.
Therefore, when the Archer women, with the help of Fuyaiyah, announced the entire plan, everybody was ready.
Nali looked at her baby sister and smiled.
"Everything's ready to go, Fuya!"
"Yes! Thank you Nali!" she then looked at her village. "Thank you everyone!"
Then Nali and Fuyaiyah went over the plan with everyone. Those without battle experience stayed behind to watch the little kids and the village. The old ones who did have experience, but couldn't perform a full-fledged battle would stay along with those with absolutely no experience and the small children and defend the village. Everybody else had horses and would be directly helping in confronting the entire Kingdom.
Everybody was in high spirits as they all began to prepare.
"Your majesty!"
Two days later, a group of guards came running to King Lenon.
He gave them a look.
"What is it?"
The guard caught his breath.
"We believe we see Fuyaiyah! She and her village are on horses and they're charging our way! Your majesty!"
The King was instantly alarmed and issued an emergency order for all of his troops to be ready for battle.
The emergency order was spread very quickly everywhere. In only ten minutes, the King had run outside the gates. He did indeed see all of her village on horses, but only Fuyaiyah charged toward the gate on her horse.
"Fuyaiyah!" He yelled as she approached. "It doesn't look like you're here to complete the ceremony!"
She quickly jumped off her horse and ignored his troops as she walked up to him with haste, but also with earnestness.
"I have left my village behind, left my weapon and have dismounted my horse. May you not be hostile so we can speak in a private place?"
King Lenon wanted to know the meaning of her arrival right away and escorted her back to the Palace.
"It seems you are not here to complete the ceremony."
"You are correct. I only came to let you know that there will be no ceremony, but that the agreement has still been fulfilled so therefore, let me and my village start anew peacefully - without you bearing grudge or resentment."
