The Royal doctor was taking too long to read the test results for the Third King.
"Can't you hurry up?"
"I'm reading, I'm reading."
After another moment of shuffling papers in silence, he stood up and faced the three.
"It is, indeed, more appropriate to call Miss Fuyaiyah your sister. Well, I guess we should call her Princess Fuyaiyah now."
Fuyaiyah turned tense. She never thought of such a title for herself. Who would be willing to call her 'princess' after all of her actions?
The tables had turned; her siblings were taking too long to respond to the doctor's suggestion.
Then, Prince Tuquor pulled her into a side hug and looked at her with sparkly eyes.
"So, you really are our sister. That explains why you always reminded me of mother - and your behavior."
King Kyuni joined the hug.
"I just wish you told me that sooner before - " he then just sighed.
Siomi stayed back respectfully and admired the scene of three siblings reunited.
Prince Tuquor suddenly realized something.
"Oh! Zyla will be so upset! She always wanted to be your sister!"
The old family doctor approached the siblings.
"All of you - including Princess Zyla - went through a lot together. In my opinion, all four of you are already family." Then he turned to Fuyaiyah and gave a sincere bow that surprised everyone. "Princess Fuyaiyah. Thank you for being related to Queen Favour."
The four of them began to talk about the things only they knew about. Poor Siomi, once again, casted to the side, waited patiently.
"I've finished my business here," smiled Fuyaiyah to Siomi another day as they slowly walked around. "We have one more week left. What do you want to do?'
He just wanted the week to be over so they could go home and get married, but he pretended otherwise.
"You're the one who wanted the month-leave to come here; let's do whatever you want."
She took his hand.
"Well. no matter what, I don't want to neglect you anymore."
He liked the sound of that, and put his head on hers with a smile.
Fuyaiyah stopped walking. Siomi looked at her.
"Siomi, actually, there's just one more place I'd like to visit." she smiled.
"Would you like to meet my mother?"
With the easy permission of the Third King, and the guidance from Tuquor, Fuyayiah and Siomi arrived at the storage where almost every belonging of the Queen Favour was stored. The warm sun brightened the room so Fuyaiyah was able to find the portrait of her mother and showed Siomi.
He studied it.
"Wow - you definitely take after her looks. She was a gorgeous woman."
Fuyaiyah smiled. And moments later, they both were sitting on the rug with many things misplaced to look at, gaze, and wonder about the personality of the Second Queen. It was quite a meaningful time for Fuyaiyah, who never got the chance to simply sit and admire things and people like her mother. And for Siomi, who appreciated how it wasn't difficult anymore to get the woman he loved to let him into her life.
The last moment of them being away from the village was spent on a high place, gazing out on the sunrise side by side.
"Are you really ready to go home?" asked Siomi after seeing Fuyaiyah's long face.
She nodded.
"Going home was what I was always trying to do!" Then she frowned.
"I was just thinking about my Uncle. I've discovered all of my blood-family here. I've gotten close with all of them, but my Uncle and I couldn't get it right before he was sent to lifetime confinement. Nobody can visit him; nobody can talk to him."
"Actually-," said a voice in the distance.
The couple turned around and saw Thylin approaching. They both moved a bit, and he joined them in the middle.
"-before the tower was built, a lot of thought was put into it. We all loved your mother, Fuyaiyah, so we thought of how to construct the tower based on both what she would've wanted and what King Lenon deserved."
Thylin then gazed out into the sunrise with a smile, not intending to say anything more.
Fuyaiyah got annoyed.
