(BIRDS CHIRPING)
STEVE: You're gonna need to get that fixed if you're going to be a good Captain America.
"Right, I died," Steve mutters. Bucky pats his shoulder reassuringly.
(UPLIFTING MUSIC PLAYING)
MAJOR: The criminal organization known as LAF is targeting Captain Vasant, one of our military liaisons.
FALCON: LAF?
MAJOR: Yeah, they're high-powered. We lost contact with Vasant's plane just after it took off. We need you to make sure that LAF doesn't deliver on their threat. Vasant's plane has already entered Tunisian airspace. US military cannot be seen operating out there.
FALCON: I got it. You guys fly low, drop me off, I fly up to intercept. No treaties violated.
MAJOR: First Lieutenant Torres, our intel officer, will be helping on the ground. And Sam, this has to be subtle.
"I'm not so great at that," Sam says sheepishly.
FALCON: Subtle. Got it.
Many magicals look excited to see Sam in action. They hadn't seen him fight a lot in the movies.
TORRES: Sam, Torres here. Sending intel to your HUD right now. I'll be your boots on the ground, sir.
FALCON: I got eyes on a plane. Any sign of LAF?
TORRES: Nah. Nothing yet. But I'll keep tracking the chatter.
(PROPELLERS ROARING)
FALCON: They've already hijacked the plane.
TORRES: Oh, we're gonna need to call some people.
A few people laugh.
MAN: (IN FRENCH, SUBTITLED) Tu as vu ça? Je viens de voir un homme sur le pare-brise. (Did you see that? I just saw a man on the windshield.)
GEORGES: (IN FRENCH, SUBTITLED) Louie... Je vais te tuer! (Louie... I'm gonna kill you!)
FALCON: Okay, switching to plan B.
(BOTH GRUNTING)
GEORGES: Hey! (IN FRENCH, SUBTITLED) Arrêtez son flop! (Stop his flopping!)
(GRUNTING)
(MAN SPEAKING INDISTINCTLY)
GEORGES: (IN FRENCH, SUBTITLED) Il est comme un poisson, non? Peut-être qu'on devrait l'étriper ici. (He's like a fish, right? Maybe we should gut him here.)
"Even when threatening to kill someone, French is a pretty language," Gabrielle says. A few people look at her in horror but others have to agree.
FALCON: Redwing, engage.
(PULSING)
"Maybe that thing could be helpful," Bucky mutters.
"Redwing is always helpful, you just don't appreciate him enough," Sam retorts.
"Boys, remember that threat?" Gabrielle asks them. Bucky's eyes widen and he nods. Sam, still not knowing Russian, looks terrified at Bucky's reaction and nods as well.
(VASANT GROANS)
(BEEPS)
(GRUNTS)
