The hall was pretty much silent, except for a few sniffles from people crying.
"I'm sorry," Strange says. "This is just what happens."
"But in the movie, you said there were 14 million other outcomes!" Tony exclaims.
"Was this the outcome that we won?" Peter asks quietly.
"I can't answer that," Strange answers sadly.
"We have to win at some point, right?" Clint asks.
"So you're just assuming that we lost?" Nat asks the man sitting next to her.
"Well, yeah, half of the universe just got erased from existence, Tasha!" Clint exclaims. "We lost!"
Everyone sits in silence for a bit. Strange breaks it by asking, "Does everyone want to sit for a while or start the next one?"
"We should start the next one," Tony says. Everyone nods in agreement.
"I have someone to bring, then," Strange says and opens a portal.
"Nick!" the woman says.
"Hey, Carol," Fury says with a small smile. "And Goose!"
Loki looks up at Goose before shrieking and hiding behind the couch. "Get that little devil away from me!" she yells
Thor looks up at Goose and a large smile stretches across his face. "Loki, it's just a Flerken, calm down," he says as he takes Goose from Carol's arms.
"Her name is Goose," Carol says.
"Flerkens are the spawn of evil!" Loki says as she continues to glare at the creature in her brother's arms.
"It's just a cat," Tony says confusedly.
"No, it is not, Stark!" Loki says loudly.
Bucky was up to Thor. "Can I hold her?" he asks. Both Carol and Thor nod and Thor hands Goose over. She immediately starts to purr. A huge smile stretches across his face.
"Do you want a cat?" Gabbs asks.
"...Yes," Bucky says with a small smile.
"Okay, love," Gabbs says. "if that will make you happy we can get a cat." The biggest grin breaks across the assassin's face.
"I'm stealing your cat!" Bucky exclaims before sitting down again.
"She doesn't seem to mind," Carol says. Goose is purring very loudly in Bucky's arms.
"Alright, let's begin," Strange says. The next movie begins.
