The sun hung high in the sky as Karasuno's volleyball team made their way to the train station, laughter and chatter filling the air. Kageyama walked a little ahead, the excitement bubbling inside him. He couldn't remember the last time he had felt this carefree. The day off felt like a gift, and he was ready to enjoy every moment.

As they approached the station, Kageyama noticed the vibrant colors of the blooming flowers lining the streets. He paused for a moment, marveling at a patch of bright sunflowers swaying in the gentle breeze. The sight made him grin, and he couldn't help but think how happy it was to be out and about with his friends.

"Hey, Kageyama! You coming?" Hinata called back, bouncing on his heels.

"Yeah! Just... look at that!" Kageyama pointed to the flowers, his enthusiasm evident in his voice. "They're so bright!"

Hinata and Yamaguchi exchanged amused glances, and even Tsukishima, who usually rolled his eyes at such enthusiasm, couldn't help but smirk.

"You really are a person with many sides, Kageyama," Tsukishima said, a hint of warmth in his tone.

Kageyama shrugged, his cheeks slightly flushed. "I just think they're nice, okay?"

Once they reached the train station, they piled into a car, claiming seats by the window. As the train began to move, Kageyama pressed his face against the glass, eyes wide with wonder. The landscape blurred by, a beautiful mix of green fields and small towns.

"Look at that!" he exclaimed, pointing at a herd of cows grazing peacefully in a pasture. "They're so cool!"

Tanaka giggled. "You really are like a little kid, Kageyama!"

"Well he is the youngest," said Daichi

"HE IS?" Nova and Tanaka said in unison

"Yup," Suga said, "the oldest first year is Hinata because he was born in June, the youngest first year is Kageyama because he was born in December."

"Dang, I thought Yams or Shoyo was the youngest," said Noya

"Yams is second youngest," said Hinata

"Suga look at that giant crow!" Kageyama exclaimed

"Wow, it's very huge," Suga responded

Tsukishima leaned back in his seat, arms crossed, but there was a faint blush on his cheeks as he watched Kageyama's excited expressions. "You know, it's kind of embarrassing how happy you are about everything."

Yamaguchi nudged Tsukishima playfully. "Look at you, Tsukki! You're blushing!"

"I am not!" Tsukishima shot back, though his protest was weak, a smile creeping onto his face.

Kageyama turned to Tsukishima, oblivious to the teasing. "I think it's nice that we're all together like this. It feels... good."

"Yeah, it really does," Yamaguchi agreed, his voice warm. "I'm glad we could all take a break from practice and just hang out."

As the train chugged along, Kageyama's excitement continued to shine. He pointed out fields, rivers, and even the distant mountains, all while the rest of the team smiled at his enthusiasm. Their hearts swelled with affection for their resident setter, and even Tsukishima couldn't help but feel a sense of fondness as he watched Kageyama's face light up.

In that moment, Kageyama was just a boy with dreams, a smile on his face, sharing the simple joy of a beautiful day with friends. And as they traveled toward the amusement park, it was clear that this day would be one to remember.
