Elion made his way to the graveyard. He passed by other grieving individuals as he searched for a name.
Emily Bennett. She was nowhere to be found. Why wasn't she here?
Elion changed direction and walked to the woods. Another flashback rushed to his mind.
"Elion, what are you doing up there," Emily asked, placing her hands at her hips.
Elion looked down from the tree he climbed. A victorious grin was seen on his face.
"Hi, Em," Elion greeted, excitedly, "I saw this tree, and I climbed it."
"Why," Emily asked.
Elion laughed, as if she just told him a joke.
"I don't know, but I think I'm stuck," Elion laughed.
Emily rolled her eyes and smiled.
"Jump down. I'll make sure you land safely," Emily said.
"Thank you, Emily," Elion said.
"You have the brain cell of a goldfish."
"Aww, I love you too!"
Elion smiled while looking up at a large tree.
"I know how much you enjoy these woods, Em," Elion said.
He crouched down to find a spot to start digging.
"They may have forgotten you, but I didn't. I'll make sure that you will never be forgotten," Elion said.
He found a good spot and marked an X in the dirt. Then he found a nearby boulder and carried it to the X.
Elion spent the day carving and creating a tombstone for Emily. Once he finished, Elion stepped back while wiping the sweat from his brow.
He admired his work, although he wasn't finished yet. There's still one more step he had to take.
Elion lifted his eyes to the sky. It was getting dark. He should head back and get washed up for his date tonight.
Elion went back to the hotel, only to find a note. It appeared to be an address.
After tracking down the house, he knocked on the door. A vampire opened the door.
"Elion, right," she asked.
"Yes. Is Pearl here," Elion asked, looking behind her.
