Two days later, Elion received a call from Tyler, asking his help with preparing for the full moon.
"I'll be right there," Elion said.
He grabbed a duffel bag of items prepared for this night. Tyler was bringing his own stuff, but Elion decided to bring some back up things.
Just in case.
He arrived at the Lockwood's cellar around noon. Caroline was also present, helping him set up.
Elion grabbed the chains that Tyler was planning to use.
"What is it," Tyler asked, noticing his puzzlement.
"Not nearly strong enough," Elion muttered, setting down his bag.
It hit the floor with a loud thud. Tyler raised his eyebrows as he pulled out some thicker chains and restraints.
"Growing up, I studied different supernatural myths and legends, including werewolves," Elion said, dosing the chains in wolfsbane water, "There are different ways to help this process go smoothly."
"You studied about this, huh," Tyler asked, "Is there a way to knock me out?"
"No but there is a way to make you turn faster," Elion said.
"Won't that be more dangerous for us," Caroline asked.
"It will be. But it'll also be less painful for Tyler," Elion reasoned.
"What is it?"
Elion looked up at the ceiling.
"When the moon reaches its peak, don't fight it," Elion said, "The more you fight, the more it will hurt. Okay?"
Tyler nodded.
"Good. Let's get started," Elion smiled, "This is going to hurt though."
Elion placed the restraints on him, making Tyler grit in pain. The wolfsbane stung his skin, despite it being heavily diluted.
"I'm sorry, kid," Elion apologized, guilt hitting his chest, "I'm not trying to hurt you."
"I know, I know," Tyler said.
"Caroline, you want to work on his ankles," Elion asked.
"Sure."
She began restraining his ankles and waist. Elion added more restraints to his torso and neck.
"How much can you tell me about these moments," Tyler asked, "Will I remember anything?"
