The lycanthropic moods I endure are starting to press on harder and harder. I feel, at one moment rage, then momentarily peace; and soon after follows the solemn night. My only hope still remains in the mortal, my flower, Kristal. I have her from a far from quite some time now and I had admired her from even father for even longer.
I now understand the curse of the wolf and the bat. Do they fight because they are so alive and cannot die? Do they have to topple each other off of their thrones? The wolf lets his inner beast take hold and ravage. The bat miserably tries time and time again to overcome the loneliness they feel with the warmth of life. There is a darkness creeping back into me. I tried my best to vanquish it when Nancy Tahl and I were together and our love was flourishing. I took a temporary hold, but soon found it lurking in the back of my mind. Violence is taking a rot in my heart. It is becoming pleasurable to witness and create.
Without love and without the touch of another I can feel the wither and coldness of time. The sanguine and vampyric bond I create with these souls comfort me and provide temporary satisfaction. But like Kane unto Abel and God unto Kane, I feel the damnation of my lust both sexual and violent seducing me into the depths of something very unrecoverable.
I sing to them,
"Come dance along the moonlight's pale glow
Where my blood runs cold and there is
No more control.
Dance macabre, dance my lustful sight
And conclude with me something that was conceived
From within the night..."
