*Narrator*

All around the camps, kids take care of their luggages. The younger ones were excited to see their parents, that they didn't see for a week. A girl called Crystale complained about "My eyes' odor since I arrived! It's awful!". Whatever that meant.

For the older ones, the excitement wasn't the same. Obviously, they were glad to see their parents again, yet nostalgia was hitting them like a sickness.

In the Owl tent, precisely, it was legit hell. The instructor joined the kids together, patting their backs as she precised she would miss them.

- Hold up! A young girl called Cassandra grumbled

Her freckles made her pale skin appear more, as her blonde caramel hair hugged her head's curves. Cassandra watched the room, her eyebrows arched in worry.

Taking a deep breath, the fifteen year old girl walked towards the door, her chef badge attached to her blouse at her new backpack. It was less clean after her week in the camp, but that wasn't important.

- Nostalgic yet? Questioned a friend called Audrey, who had a complicated relationship with our hero

Cassandra laughed about how her expression was showing what she thought. We could always guess what she felt by a single glance.

- Yeah, I'm glad I'll get to see my parents, but I hate that I have to leave the camp. Cassandra admitted, continuing her route on the beaten path

The two girls remained silent for a moment, their minds at ease. As Audrey was about to leave, Cassandra grabbed her hand to stop her.

- Wait...Audrey...Are we friends? She suggested shyly

Audrey showed a proud smile and released her new friend's hand, nodding her head.

- Friends. Audrey affirmed before joining her parents.

Cassandra kept Audrey's contact, as well as Mary-Phoebe's and William's, who left earlier that day. Seeing her mother's car park, the girl felt her heart stop for a second, but then she smiled.

Cassandra got in her mother's car as she observed her last camp memories. Raising her hands to the window, she let herself slide comfortably on her seat.

- Did you like your stay at camp? The woman asked her daughter, glancing at her from her rear-view mirror

- Adored! She exclaimed excitedly

Cassandra couldn't help her memories from creeping down her heart before hitting her, leaving a trace in her heart.

- Gosh, you look sad, Cassandra, is there a problem? Everything's fine? The mother questioned worriedly

The girl moved on her seat, looking over at her mom. Letting her gaze slide to the window again, she responded to her mother with a smile.

- Yes...I'm eager for next year...

And that's how Cassandra Saint-Cyr's stay at the Okitwawa camp ended. Full of hope. She would come back, she was certain. She wouldn't let anyone tell her the contrary.

The Okitwawa camp was great for her.

And if you ask, dear readers, if this Cassandra is still alive, well she is..Because she's the one telling you this story right now.

It's not me, it's to make style...
