Sebastian's pov
Holy shit!
It's Eve! She helped me so much after Poppy and Ominis passed in my world. I always wish she had met my Ava but now she can! Sorta..
As we landed in Feldcroft, before we could even get to the front door it swung open and Eleazar walked out with a suspicious look on his face.
"Eleazar! Come meet my friend,"
El didn't move. He stayed at the door with his arms crossed. I looked at Ava as she rolled her eyes, "El move," she sighed.
"Who is she?" He asked me.
"Merlin's beard, Eleazar. She's standing right here." His mother scolded.
"This is my friend Evelin, from my world." I said smiling at Eve who smiled back.
"I thought you were alone?" El responded back quickly.
"I was, often, Eve wasn't around a lot," I can't believe was defending myself from my own son...
Eve laughed, "yeah, I travel a lot. I don't like being in one place for too long,"
Eleazar didn't seem to relax at all. "I don't want her to come in,"
"Eleazar," Ava sighed.
"It's my house!" I said at the same time.
"It's just dinner," Ava added. The two of them looked at each other for a moment and finally El stepped back.
"Fine," he turned around and stomped back into his and Abigail's room.
"Gosh they need a house..." Ava grumbled and walked inside. I didn't say anything but I did notice that she didn't put her wand down as she usually does when she comes home.
"Oh it's fine. He's always moody about something. I like them being here." I turned towards Eve, "sorry about him. He has trouble trusting new people."
She walked inside and looked around at everything. "It's okay. You're home is so... lived in looking..." I caught Ava do a double take before heading to our bedroom. "So many photos... not like your last place. Feldcroft itself looks more lived in, in this world at least." Ava smiled at me at she walked back out of the room and into the kitchen.
"Yeah.. something about the kids running around when they were little made people stick around or move in," I watched Eve look at a family photo and cock her head to side as she examined it.
"Is this you?" She bluntly asked.
It wasn't me, technically, but I did have all his memories so it could be me...
"No... that was the original... he's me though... it can be confusing if you think too much about it." I tried to laugh off the uneasiness.
"Ah.. so that's the weak one." She teased. That was normal humor for her. It's how she always was. I was just worried...
Something in the kitchen shattered. I hurried in making sure Ava was okay, leaving Evelin alone in the front room.
"Avs?" I asked as I found her standing in the middle of the kitchen. A shattered plate on the ground at her feet. A shard of glass seemed to have cut her leg a tiny bit. "My love, what happened?"
I walked up to her lifting her chin gently. I kissed her forehead, each cheek and her nose despite her eyes glowing red. She blinked a few times and the glow was gone and replaced with her beautiful green eyes.
"Nothing," she in her normal voice.
"Your eyes were glowing," I said softly.
"I saw a spider," I looked over my shoulder at the counter. Not because I was scared.
